Good Morning, Everyone,
Sending our sympathy to Steph this morning. Fly free, Java!
Rusty had a good night, if a bit of a shorter night (we were all up late watching the Red Sox win the AL pennant. It was a terrific game--a nail-biter until close to the end). This morning we had a good test (but a bit of a high bg), an "ouchie" shot, breakfast (first sitting), a delicious lung treat, and a schmooze. Yesterday we tried a new food: Instinct Chicken. Not a hit, so I can cross that one off my list. I still have 2 to try: Canidae Pure Elements Chicken, Turkey, and Lamb, and Nature's Recipe Grain-Free Chicken & Turkey. Neither is on Dr. Lisa's list, but the ingredients look pretty good. Has anyone tried either of these?
Edward is baking bread for our sandwiches this week. Rusty is waiting to be combed. "Jenny" (the new generator) has completed her weekly "exercise", and we are about to go for a walk. It is a cool, blustery day. Tonight is the mountain club's monthly potluck. I'm down for a salad. Good thing we had the farmers' market yesterday! Tomorrow we're paddling one of our favorite routes: the Floodwood Pond--Fish Creek--Follensby Pond--Polliwog Pond loop. Weather is expected to be cold, but only 20% chance of rain, and that mainly in the afternoon.
Wishing all a good day.
