Yesterday continued a frustrating yellow stretch, but overnight Neko got her :mrgreen: back.

Neko was feeling better/more active this morning when she was back in blues. More civie whacking. :lol: There's also a bit of a contest going on for the new bed I bought them. It's covered with minky fabric and I think they are loving the softness. Neko spent the night on it, but now she's out in the solarium and it's Theo's turn.

It's still gray here and foggy below our house. Fortunately the fog is about 300 feet above the water so we got our row in this morning. Water was wonderfully flat - fog discourages power boaters. When we were stopped at the far side of the inlet, a leopard seal popped up about 7 feet away from our boat to give us the once over. We mostly see harbor seals and not quite so close.

How cool on the leopard seal. That's great they both love the new bed, but not if they fight over it. Will they both sleep in it together?

Maybe you need to get another one of those great beds!

How neat about the leopard seal popping up so close to your boat! We've had otters do that and it is such fun to watch.

Neko, those were nice greens last night. Repeat performance tonight?

We are also dealing with the foggy stuff too... House is socked in, it hasn't lifted all day, The shore however wasn't nearly as bad - sees the fog is hovering there too. So much for the sun we were supposed to get. I think that all ended up in eastern Washington... :lol:

Love trhe greens form Lat night. YAY for Neko! I always knew when we got those flat yellows that Mannie had something up his sleeve. With him though one never knew if he'd do green, or decide the upper floor needed revisiting.... I am glad to see Neko prefers the green one. I hope she had a good day today.

Very cool on the seal! how fun!

It was nice to give Neko a bit of a pokie break today. After that +6 I didn't think she was going anywhere dangerous. :roll: She probably spent the last half of the cycle in blues. I went out to do some shopping (syringes, lancets) and when I came back Neko was purring away on DH's lap. She also claimed the new bed for a good bit of the afternoon.

@Mariko - It is such a guessing game buying something for the furkids. I was pretty sure she would approve of some beds on the floor so it was just a matter of making sure it's the right size and felt good.

@Carla - The bed is just the right size for one cat to stretch out on it. Neko doesn't like to sleep close the Theo, so even if he thinks there's room for two, there isn't. :lol: They don't fight over it, thank goodness.

@Ella - I have a pillow form to make a bed, just hoping they'll like it as well a the one I bought. We have seen a river otter once in our cove. I haven't seen sea otters in our area yet, but they are in the islands not too far away where DH's family has a cabin. They are fun to watch. Still TBD on what Neko'll do tonight, green would be nice. I like apple baked into almost anything.

@Michelle - I saw sun for a very tiny bit while out shopping. I know that sun is up there somewhere above the fog! Neko doesn't often do the flat yellow thing, so a bit of a surprise. Maybe this is something new for Levemir.
