Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy First Day of Fall!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy resting.... they say they is mega tired... I dunno why, but they are. They say Sunday is sleep in day... well ok then! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET!, and perfect for a fall day. OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts standard with every delivery!

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was catch up day, and I did get alot done, bills, laundry, shopping, all the fun stuff - even paid my property taxes! Not too terribly exciting, but things were accomplished. That and some serious recovery time from the week. The time with the boys was a blast, and a challenge to have the boys five days during the week. We sure had fun though, lots of really cool things to do, lots of river visits. Caturday was my recovery day. I was able to get out for a shore and woods walk in the afternoon too. We had fog all day long. The darn stuff never did clear. I went out anyways, determined to find some fall color out n the trial here ar home. I was successful! Meadowdale just never disappoints. In this album there are some photos of some 'shrooms. Those were taken in my front yard. This year I have an abundance of them. I normally would be so thrilled to have such gorgeous and interesting mushrooms in my yard,... if it wasn't for the fact that they are poisonous!   shesshhhh! There are also some photos in the album of what I shall call fungi. I have no clue what this stuff is, but found it on a bush off the trail. it was covering a huge section of the main branches. it was a combo of creepy and eerie, and inserting, and kinda cool. I was taken back by how big the coverage was.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   It was such a quiet day here yesterday for the kitties... Until I came back from the store and brought paper bags.    This time Lola didn't even wait for me to take out the groceries. It was kinda funny she was in and out of all the bags until she finally settled in one. It was the bag with the kitty fuds in it!   She is such a fun cat. I now have a water spray bottle by the front door to thwart all her escape attempts. So far: Bean 158, Lola 2   I need to get one by the garage door too, as it is a battle to keep her out of there. Our garage really isn't a garage, but more of a storage place  for all the "fine things" that I have nowhere else to put.  It is a no no place for her. too many places to hide... so far I'm not fairing so well keeping her out of there whenever I open the door. Faster than a speeding bullet she is.... so far: Bean 4, Lola 168. :? Bug is doing well. He has taken to greeting me anytime I come into the house, or go to a new room. He always shows up, gives me a few head butts, accepts several scritches in return, and then off he goes, back to the beds. Ahhhhh.... what a guy! Elsa is doing well for such a senior kitty. She is in good health - here's to you Elsa, the matriarch of the group!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... The fogs have returned big time to the PNW, it might be a good day just to stay out. We shall see!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Congrats on getting so much done yesterday! I need to settle in today! OMG on those shrooms and fungus! The shrooms are beautiful though.

  on escapee Lola! I've learned I need to pick Emma up go out the door and drop her back inside! That or sneek out the door into the garage and go out that way.

Hi Michelle,

Glad you were able to recover some from your energizer week :-D

The mushrooms look so beautiful - I can never tell which are poisonous and which are not, so I just assume they all are. The leaf colors are just gorgeous, reminds me of two Japanese maples we had to leave behind when we left NJ. They were my favorites.

Hope bean's average comes up some on the garage door race

Jane

Those pictures are beautiful, including the shrooms. That fungi is really wild.

How funny Lola settled on the paper bag with the kitty food. I hope you get better at keeping her from getting into the garage.

HI everyone! I hope your day has been good. It's been good here, rather low key but that's OK. I went to the shore early, after deciding not to hike today. It was a very foggy day again at the shore, and once again the fog has not lifted today. wow - I wonder if that is a record: 48 + hours in the fog...  I took the camera with me, Duh.... got some decent fog shots. The fungus that I took photos of yesterday has grown, ALOT in the past 24 hours.   Kinda reminds me of the Steve McQueen movie "The Blob". Anyone remember that? Maybe that really dates me...   But, sensuously: the stuff has doubled in size. :o Took some more hots of that. It is weird stuff: very soft, moist and a creamy texture. creepy weird. I also put up some Halloween decorations, for Nicholas and William, mostly pumpkin and ghost lights. A few lighted pumpkins too. :-D and of course I had a helper. LOLA! a duh.... She batted with and played with every thing I had out. Up and cone the banister railing as I wrapped that with lights. OMG. She is one crazy mischievous fun loving kitty. I cannot help but wonder.... what one earth will happen at Christmas, with the tree?        TIMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and down it will go....

Hi Ann - THX, it was a productive day, and not too rushed. I think so too on those 'shrooms... I should remove them, but they are so pretty! Nicholas knows no to touch them, and he has left them alone. still.... Oh yes on Lola... It is a battle. I too usually end up piking her up, and then once out the door putting her back inside. Dang garage though will be my nemesis. She still manages to get through. Darn cat!

Hi Jane - Me too - recovery now complete. It will be good to also have M and Tu now, but I will miss the boys.... I know too on the 'shrooms. I really don't know much about alot of any of them... so the rule is: they are all to stay where we see them. The ones in my yard however I know are poisonous.... ah yes on the japanese maples -their colors are so awesome in the fall. I have one in my backyard. I also love the vine maples - they are great too. LOL: and me too on the beans average!

Hi Carla - THX on the photos. We have such nice colors this year. Very stunning! Weird to on the fungi - wild is a good description. -- I did have to laugh when Lola settled on the kitty fuds bag. Smart girl knew those were kitty fuds cans. ;-) THX too n teh garage and Lola. I sure hope I do too.

Hi Michelle,
Oh wow on those mushrooms and fungi!! There's a smart-phone app called Rogers' Mushrooms that a friend of mine who is very interested in fungi swears by. You have great pictures and should be able to identify some of those mushrooms from your photos.

I hope you had a good walk today. I'm sure that you will find much to fill your Mondays and Tuesdays!!!

Lola and a Xmas tree! Oh man! Bug is such a mellow kitty. That's neat, too.

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, thanks for the ~O) this morning. Tomorrow we're going paddling and your coffee will be great in our thermos at lunch time. Weather is expected to be cold.

Lola is definitely "making up" for the excitement in your house, since Bug and Elsa are just so sweetly mellow! If you dare to put up a Christmas tree, you HAVE to set up a camera that is running 24/7!!!

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi Ella :-D THX on the app! I did find it on my phone and will install and see if it will help. it would be so nice to have that option when I am out and about. THX on today - it was a good walk. And oh yes on Mondays and Tuesdays. busy already!  -- oh yes on Lola... and a tree. I dear thinking about it even. It may be a very interesting Christmas this year.
Auntie Ella - THANKS YOU! I will be there bright and early tomorrow then, with lots of hot brews for your thermos, and a travel to go mug to get you to your paddle. You want some cocoa too? It's so good on cold days... See you tomorrow! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Amy :-D That she is: she has enough excitement for all three of them.   I LIKE that idea: A 24/7 cream... YES! Ok, mission now: find one - like a kitty cam... THX on tonight. it will be great. My son and his GF are stopping by.

Hi, Michelle :-D
You find the most interesting things on your adventures!
I love that you have to keep a squirt bottle by the door ~ I wonder when Lola will learn to enjoy getting squirted...

Have a good night!

Hi Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) hey thx! I try to go anywhere with an open mind. When one does, and looks for things you can find all sorts of darn cool things. LOL on the squirt bottle, and Lola. I am wondering the same thing... how long before she finds that too to be a game...
