Good morning LLand! Yesterday's yellows

We're running REALLY low on insulin right now. DCIN placed an order for us on Oct 6th - CanadaDrugs didn't even begin processing until Oct 13th! THEN it takes 8-12 BUSINESS days for delivery. I'm not sure I can make this stretch that long...

Oh dear on the Lantus! I hope it gets to you in time. Is there somewhere else you can get it if it doesn't arrive in time?

I hate waiting for that insulin to be delivered, and it usually comes on the day I am praying for it's arrival--Hope yours does!!--My relative is involved with a canada pharmacy & they have been pretty good--I will let you know if this one is no good--Hope it comes & KT can come down from there--

If necessary, call around to local hospital outpatient pharmacies. They will sometimes sell a single pen vs. a 5-pack.

Well, thank you Mr. KT - +7.5 is 84 - GREEN!!!

Our whole septic connections just crumbled into a thousand pieces - we weren't even working nearby so NOTHING we did could have caused this. I'd turned on the tub for a second and went back out. We heard water running, looked just in time to watch them crumble....CRAP! Wait...NO CRAP! At least we have another toilet that goes into the other septic....no tub/shower (after being under the house-yuck) but at least we can relieve....well, you know.... :evil: :-x :evil:

I hope the insulin comes thru on time or posibly a Pharmacy will sell a single pen. Congrats on the blue and now a green for KT! :mrgreen:

wow...you guys are having more than your share of bummer events to deal with!

hope the insulin gets there in time...
and wish we could offer you a shower!
it's a little bit of a long drive though...

I hope you got the insulin today. I usually get it from Canadadrugsonline within 4 or 5 business days, no matter what they predict, and I'm in New Jersey, so hopefully, your's came today.
I wish you luck, 'cause you need it.

Celi - wish you were too, I'd take you up on that shower....YUCK!

Can't even run the kitchen water as it dumps into that septic. I got the stuff to fix it while ago so tomorrow morning when I have light and am not bummed out tired, I'll climb under, dig it out (yuck, phooey, gag, uck, fphfft), TRY to hold down breakfast and replace it. I just hope the next entry pipe is still good. DH is bigger than I am and can't get to that area AND dig. I'm going to have to use a little short garden shovel as it is. Oh aren't I gonna have fun....(yuck, phooey, gag, uck, fphfft).

+9 - 114 Haven't seen these low numbers lately so I'm at least overjoyed about that! SOMETHING went right...
 
We close out the day with a PMPS of 213 - not a bad day for KT lately. As soon as our Lantus arrives, I'm increasing back up to the solid 2.0u. He was doing much better then...

I may get more tests tonight - hubby's paralysis attacks are in full swing and I can't seem to find the loose wire on the 'reconnect' button. We're up to 5 in the last 3 hours now...if it's not one thing, it'll be another....

Can we fast-forward to next week or something? I've had it with this one... :roll:
 
that would be the perfect example of "when it rains it pours!" wishing i could lend you a hand - that's a lotta things for you to handle. sending you buckets of sympathy on the septic tank woes. that sucks. i could hardly handle it when our sewage ejector tank (from a daylight basement bathroom - shoots the sewage uphill to the regular sewage pipes & system) stalled and backed up into the shower drain.

i hope tomorrow is a better day! wouldn't be surprised if KT bounced from that green.
 
Woohoo, KT! Nice greens! Sorry about the septic. That sounds like a truly unpleasant task. Ugh. Hope it goes quickly. And hope the Lantus comes soon. nailbite_smile
