Please send eating vines and healing vines to Sabrina. She seems a little better.
I had a thought that I might keep Jackson in the livingroom with me and since she wanted to stay in the bedroom, I could try to feed her in there.
One time in the middle of the night she snuggled with me hard like she normally does, laying with all her weight and then some pressing against me and kind of twirling her body around me. She ate a few treats in the night.
She didn't sleep with me in the bed though. She slept on the floor next to my bed which was weird. I thought maybe it was the harness (she often gets a front foot caught into the neck part of the harness) or the bupe was making her feel dizzy.
This morning, she got up on the stool where she normally eats and I tried to grab her to take her harness off, and that freaked her out and she took off and hid again.
I prepared their breakfast, and put their food in the normal places and as Jackson was chowing down his, she came out and looked up there where hers goes and was smacking her lips but wouldn't go up there, like she was afraid I would grab her again. She's been grabbed too much lately.
I finally put her breakfast in front of where she was hiding and she came out and ate the whole 1/4 can. YAY! She usually gets 1/2 can for main meals, so I'll try to give her another 1/4 can and sneak some Gabapentin in soon.
Jackson was 150 at +7.5 last night and 73 this morning, so his dose was skipped and a decrease is on the way.
It's going to be a fun day.
He's pounding away at the puppy gate right now and meowing. That's usual. Hoping and praying Sabrina goes back to usual soon.
