J.D. ate okay this morning so far. He didn't want to eat the food in the house, but once he was out on the deck he ate most of his 1st Breffis. He's still out there, and I just crumbled some Temptations on top and he is gobbling it up.

Today is a work day for J.D. and I, and it's going to be a long one.

J.D. likes to eat al fresco. I hope the day goes by faster then expected and J.D. settles in.

J.D. ate some LC at work when we first got here. I can't believe the drop from +1.5 to +2.5.
At +3.5 I started feeding him MC and that has stopped the drop.

I would like to even out his curves. Any ideas how to do that?
Feed him only MC and HC maybe? I am only home until +1.5 most days....

Christmas colors are not new. Quick bounces with deep drops and then sky rocketing all in one cycle, everyday, is kind of new.

Hi Dyana,

Tigger bounces alot too (not as much of a rollercoaster as JD, tho'), & I've just started asking the same question about 5-6% vs. LC to level off. Let me know if you find something that works, & I'll do the same!

Looks like J.D.'s getting into some good territory today - I hope he stays down awhile for you.

What % carb do you typically feed? Maybe feeding J.D. something from the higher end of the LC range might help to flatten things out.

I also wonder the same thing, Dyana. Perhaps a 10% food. You might find if you flatten him, you might have to tweak the dose up a bit.

Do you always feed J.D. the same food or same percentage of carbs. each day? Then, you could compare the numbers if you chose a food with a little higher percentage. Is J.D. very carb sensitive?

PMPS was 472.

It was a long 12 hour work day and we left at 7:30am and got home at 8:30pm. As is normal, J.D. didn't eat a lot at work, but he did eat some MC FF Medleys and it stopped his drop. The FF Medleys I feed are the Florentine style that don't have "Rice" in the name. He most of the time gets 8%? FF Chunky Turkey or Chicken and often gets 12% Roasted Turkey and sometime FF Roasted Chicken. He has recently taken a liking to the FF Chicken Feast lately. I think that is 7%?. I have a few cases of the FF Medleys Florentine, so I could try to feed him that all the time.

+3 is 288.

Levemir is suppose to have onset around +4. He acts like he's on Lantus again.

He ate a bowl (1/4 can) of FF Chunky Turkey for his 1st Dinner when we got home at +2.5, and I mixed a 1/4 tsp. of Miralax in it.
I got home to such a smelly smelly house. Ginger did a huge stinky (it looked like J.D. sized) and a spot of diarrhea (she has a sensitive tummy), so I do not need her to get the Miralax. That's why I usually just use Lactulose as it can just be given to J.D.

I hope I go to sleep soon, as I am sure I am very tired, but just got my second wind.. :roll:
 
The two cats shared 1/4 can of FF Medleys at +3.25 and headed to the bedroom...I'm following.
