Wow...what a way to start the morning!! Low amps and I had to stall. This condo has been edited :-D

WCR: 4 Ps in place. Had a hard time warming her ears because it's very cool here this morning and she's sitting in an open window. :lol: :lol: I was pretty sure I needed to stall for a rising number but just wanted to check in so thank you, Pat, for getting to me so quickly. Hope everyone has a great day and hope to get to condos this morning in between monitoring :lol: :lol: Will check at +.5.

Get the retest, you are up from your +7 test. If the retest is the same or rising go ahead and shoot. As you said you have shot lower.

Good morning Pat, Ann, Devon, and Angela...who needs ~O) ~O) ~O) !! Thank you all for answering quickly and thanks to Celi for the bump.

SO I learned an important lesson last night/this morning and I won't make that mistake again. Mike came to bed at +6 and said she was 115 (normally her nadir) and her drop had slowed down. I wasn't comfortable with not testing again so I tested at +7 and she was 111...basically the same number. I got up again at +9 to test/feed and she actually ran from me which she has never done and based on her SS and the data we have collected, I felt it would be ok to just give her the snack and I would test at +11. But I didn't even hear the alarm....I only got about a 15 min nap after Monday night's excitement and we both were just zonked. Thankfully, Tobey woke me up in time to get everything ready for AMPS. Lesson learned...check her at night until she's rising..right? Then be sure and get a +11. Shame on me...BAD mamabean!

Nothing like panic to wake you up in the morning. :-D I think you were fine going to bed when you did, late in the cycle there usually isn't much more of a drop. (Don't let Tess see that or she will try to prove me wrong again.) I usually do my preshot test about 15 minutes before the shot. That gives me a chance to get another test in if I need to and not delay my shot. Since you were up for the +9 it would have been a good time to check, then if you see she is still dropping get the +11.

i know this is a matter of gathering data and god forbid avoiding hypo but the little girls ears are saying 'enough mama...please, stop!!!!'
and tom came right home and told me how you pokied him...said you just snuck up behind him and said "YAY" full of glee when you got a number on him. he felt violated.
if you can't stop on your own there is a room for people who have this problem.
there is no shame in admitting you have a problem marjorie...we still love you.

and gracie...nice amps...tom sends a high paw sista.

Lori....I just LOVE to surprise Tom when he's here...but then he appreciates you more!!

Normally she doesn't run...she's very good and she's been great this morning. She was probably tired, I was tired, she was HUNGRY, etc etc. But....that is why I didn't test her...I'm not going to chase my kitty unless it is a situation (like today) where I have to test her to make sure she doesn't hypo. I'm not going to chase her just to fill in the squares on my data sheet :-D

Have my hands full today...trying to work, Gracie dropping, DH sick as a dog with a cold (now that he's back at work he's exposed to sick passengers with their sick kids in a confined place)....so thank you all for keeping up with us even tho I haven't visited condos yet...it helps more than you know.

Thanks Anne, MJ, CD and Ann....I'd like to keep her betwen 60-70 so I didn't feed the +4. She still has 2-2.5 hours to go to her nadir so don't want to drive her up too fast. Nailbiting, CD....not possible since I chewed them all off last Caturday :lol: :lol: The multi tasker in me is (1) testing Gracie/posting numbers (2) working (3) medicating Dh (4) dealing with roof dude (5) feeding Teddi (15 yr old civvie). I'm :cool: :cool: :cool: :lol:

Oh my - what a bounce. Gracie...... it's OK, one of these days they will be less. a pink bounce isn't all that bad - heck Mannie used to bounce all the way up to the high reds. And she had such a good day! Maybe this will allow you guys to get some much deserved rest tonight.

As adorable as she is, we can't trust her. She was way up at PMPS last night and came down and once she did (about +4), she's been in the healing range ever since. Hence, we cannot figure out WHY she bounced tonight!! She may come back down again...HOPING!! The slowly recovering DH is using blue and green pokey sticks!

I was going to tell you to test every other hour, but your wonderful DH stepped up to the plate!! What A GUY!!!!
Mine wouldnt do that(I dont think)-So enjoy your sleepus, & dont worry, she is doing so so well! Hugs & Ni Ni!
