Happy Friday All

Beenie remains as flat as can be:cool:. No complaints with the numbers just weird to continue this into the 3rd cycle. I wanted to respond to a few of you from yesterdays post but its already mid day today so "thank you" for all the well wishes. Beenie seems ok today.
@Wendy&Neko what tests should I request exactly to check her heart? The only thing done recently was an xray and vet said it looked normal in size. So I'm guessing something like an EKG? What am I looking for?

Friday night is pizza night in this house and we'll be ordering in and cheering on the Yankees!!!

Love it! :D Update the subject line and brag a little. :)

I had an echocardiogram done for Neko (ultrasound of the heart). X-rays are good for seeing fluid or heart failure, not as good for other things. My civie had a normal heart XRay, but the echo showed more. EKG is good for heart rhythm abnormalities. Neko had that too.

Thanks. :bighug: So I'm going to work with a cat behaviorist and try to get Beenie mobile (to and from vet) without all the poopus. I'm then going to get her to a specialist. I have that animal hospital close enough to me, Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, that does the cyberknife treatment for Acro. I assume its a good resource for Cardiology and or Internal Medicine. Will revisit Acupuncture too. Thanks Wendy!!

My dad grew up in PA, but for some reason he and Grandpa were always devoted to the Yankees, so we are, too. And for football, dad went to Notre Dame, so that was that. I see that the Yankees are going to the World Series - is that right?

LOVE that green PS: I'll be curious to see where Beenie goes tonight. :D

I really hope the animal behaviourist works re: car travel: that's a great idea. I hope Beenie's heart is ok. I'll have to look back at other posts to see what's up: I really hope it's not serious! :bighug:

Trying to figure out what is going on with her. Something definitely beyond the FD. She's had a gurgley, wheezy cough on and off for quite sometime. She's been on two rounds of AB and it didn't do the trick. Her eyes have been teary and there is color to her eye discharge which you would think means infection. So with the Acro soft tissue growth is a concern. That could explain some of it. Heart disease is not uncommon in Acro cats and its symptoms are kind of what Beenie is experiencing.:( So Wendy had suggested getting it checked out. There are meds that can be given to help but if left undiagnosed and untreated would probably be a recipe for disaster.

Worked with her before on another issue with a civvie and she is awesome. Seriously like a real life cat whisperer:)

Its easy to be a Yankee fan;)

Not yet but we're hoping for it. One game away ((anti jinx)):p

Sorry Beenie has other issues for you to fret about, but delighted to see those cool blues and greens. I can practically hear her healing.
