Simon has a better start to the day and I'm hoping he will come down nicely. He and Cleo both snuggled next to me all night because of the cooler weather. In fact, whenever I turned over to my other side, Cleo would climb over me so she could settle down next to my heart. Such a sweetie but made for a long night with all the maneuvering around.

I have added a video of poor quality but I wanted you to hear how pitiful Simon's meow is. He just never meows like a normal kitty and always sounds like things are so bad. The video is too dark because I forgot to turn on lights :smile: Please ignore my stupid voice -- I had to talk so Simon would answer me with his pitiful meow. I'll make a better quality video next time!

Awwww.. That's a Simon meow. That's his personality, and that's just too adorable!! I have a civvie that doesn't sound like a normal cat should, either. It's just part of who and what they are. :-D That's just too precious!! Thank you for sharing! :-D

Morning Georgia and sweet Simon. I saw the word "video" and just had to visit your condo before opening mine! I love Simon's talkative voice; it's so cute and different! Maggie has a strange one, too, if I ever buy that Sony at Target and make a video. I keep hoping it will go on sale. Simon is adorable and nice job with getting him to talk. Nice AMPS for sweet Simon, too! Have a nice Sunday.

OMGoodness he does have a deep voice! Simon makes Leo sound like a little girl :lol: :lol: It's ok Simon, its a man's voice!

OMG you made my morning. I love seeing Simon in pictures and videos and now I know his voice!!!!! What a deep meow. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing it.

CD, I never thought of Simon's voice as a whiskey voice, but now that you mention it, it does have a certain gravely sound to it!

You guys are so funny! Barry White, whisky voice and Leonard Cohen all in one package. Simon would be so flattered if he knew what y'all were saying about his funny meow.

Such a chatty Boy! Smokey sounds a bit like that but shorter- he's a chatter too. Thanks for sharing- very precious...
 
OMG....how hilarious!!! What a plaintive wail if I ever heard one. Love the little white feet in the dark....and your hardwood floors!!!
