Mr.Cat is the happiest I've seen in along time! Two weeks after dental surgery and he's totally pain-free when eating. If I ever wondered whether or not the $1,600 vet dentist bill was worth it, I have no doubts now! It was worth every penny to see a happy boy!
Also, I wanted to thank everyone for posting info about giving cats B-12 to help heal diabetes-induced neuropathy. With a healthy blood sugar and regular B-12 added to his food, Mr. Cat is like a new cat. When I first rescued him, before he was diagnosed as diabetic, he couldn't walk across the kitchen without stopping halfway to rest. He always ate while standing on his hocs, and he needed a stool to get up on the couch. He would call for me at the bottom of the stairs when he was ready to go up (I had to carry him up or down stairs). But now he's standing on his back feet/toes even when he eats, he's jumping on the bed and couch with ease, and he's gliding up and down the stairs like a young cat. He has a renewed life!
