Yesterday's condo
Got lots of things to do today, so of course China has to dip below 50....will be staying close to make sure she heads up and stays there and then maybe I can get out. Went back up to a skinny .75 today and if she doesn't go any lower, I might stay with it...or reduce it another drop...any opinions?
For those of you that have been asking about my mom, I appreciate it so much that you care. She's doing well, and the doctors didn't feel like she needed Nursing home care any longer, and she wanted to go home. I wasn't at all happy with that idea since she lives over a half hours drive away, and with the problems she's had with her comprehension, I just didn't like the idea of her going home to live alone. I had been talking to her about going into Assisted Living and that's where it had looked like she was going, but then she got it in her head to go home. Luckily, someone in physical therapy suggested that before she goes home, it might be best for her to spend a month in Assisted Living (same building as the Nursing home but in a different part) and she agreed, so yesterday we moved her into a private room in the Assisted Living part. At least now, we will get a better idea of how well she can really care for herself, but will have the safety of 24 hour nursing care if it's needed.
