Good evening,

last night was quite a surprise. After this horribly high day she sailed down quite nicely in the evening. When I went to bed we saw high blue numbers. When I woke up during the night I was very surprised to see, that she went to green numbers at +7 and shooted up again. I have set an alarm which wakes me up if she goes below 100, so I can try to test with a handheld but there was definitely no alarm (it would wake me up even in coma). So I can not be 100 % sure, if this really happened.

Today we have another almost flat pink day, seems she is bouncing.

I tested ketones twice today at +0.45 and +6.75 and they are with 0.3 mmol/dl not great but still in the usual range. So I am not anxious, thinking about the public holiday tomorrow. I think it will all work out.

Tomorrow, my neighbor will come back after her long stay in a clinic. She usually looks after Binie if I have to leave the house for longer. I am so relieved. And I am happy that I was able to do something for her in this time: I took care of her plants and she really has something like a botanical garden in her appartement. So I don't feel so bad anymore, to ask her to look after Binie....

Another good thing: Binies output is still a bit too soft but no diarrhea. Because I don't want to risk constipation, I didn't give the psyllium husk powder today and see what happens. It's good to have it at home, knowing it works.

Binie is tired but she is eating and cleaning herself. So we are doing o.k. for the situation.

I hope everone is having a relaxed day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike,
I’m so glad to read that Binie came down last night to your surprise. That was a nice gift for both of you.:D
It’s great news that your neighbor is coming home and she will be able to help you when needed. I know that will help to ease your mind a bit.
Glad Binie is doing pretty well with the antibiotic and hoping she continues to feel well.

Please give her lots of kisses for me and Ivy. Sending you both lots of hugs as well. I hope you both get a good rest tonight and both feel well tomorrow.:bighug::kiss::bighug::kiss:

Wonderful news! I hope things just continue to get better and better.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:
I’ve looked for psyllium powder for Tammuz but all I can find is it mixed with oils for hairballs

Hi Colleen, I just bought it in a shop for organic food. People use it, to make liquid food thicker. I sometimes use it to make protein bread. Its like glue. :)

In my imagination California is full of shops for organic food. :) I keep my fingers crossed you get some.

Hope you and the boys are well! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,
thank you so much! :) Binie was a bit surprised getting the double amount of kisses today. I already said hello to my neighbor today. She asked me, if she can come tonight to say hello to Binie. How sweet is that? Of course she can come.

Hope you have a relaxed day and Ivys inner drama-queen takes a break today! :bighug::kiss::bighug:
