Hello LL!!

Busy date, late condo! Billie hit green for a bit which was lovely, but then she bounced earlier than she usually bounces. I was out and couldn't test at the beginning of her cycle, but it looks like she had a quick drop, and maybe that's why she bounced so soon. She is not digging the Wild Calling! buffalo (8%) mixed with the rabbit, so I have been giving her the rabbit alone...and it's basically 0 carb. I don't love that, but I'm sticking with it for the food trial. I figure it's better to have her happily eating 0 carb food than only kind of picking at 4% food.
Billie had 3 coughing fits today and some individual coughs here and there. That's about back to "normal" considering how she had been before the lovely no coughing days earlier this week. The coughs didn't sound as phlegmy/severe today as they did early yesterday AM, which is good, but I'm still bummed/worried about the coughing in general. I made an appointment at her regular vet's office for tomorrow afternoon which I may or may not keep depending on how she is tonight and tomorrow morning. I don't know what else they can really do for her there, but I figure they can at least listen to her lungs and hear if they sound bad enough that we should consider meds. She has an appointment on Tuesday with the internal medicine doctor at the specialty practice, but Tuesday feels far away to me.
Her hives are still looking tons better. I'm really hoping that we found the allergen and the cough is just taking longer to improve, but I don't know.
Billie seemed sleepy this afternoon, but she ate well. Of course, I was worried that she seemed sleepy and had to remind myself that she is a cat. Brooklyn also "seemed sleepy" but really she was just napping...because she is a cat. I have to re-read for that amazing "Dear Mom" letter on here. Billie perked up this evening and actually did some kitty sprints! She and Brooklyn were either stalking a bug or stalking each other, and they were both darting around for a while. I noticed that Billie did not cough after the kitty sprints, and she doesn't really cough after playing, so it doesn't seem like activity makes the coughing worse.
I'll see how she does overnight and go from there. Sending lots of vines to all the cats and beans needing them!! I hope everyone has a nice night.
