I'm glad Sootie is eating with gusto when she eats. I hope her she keeps wanting to eat. Sending prayers.
Thanks Carla, hope Sootie keeps wanting to eat too, and with some gradual supplement changes while we sort everything else out.

Heading out the door in a few minutes with Bo. He's cognizant, appy eating from dish (hold it to him), can see a humongous poop getting ready to exit, but legs not working at all. Wondering if another Tia. Hugs for mr beau bo- Licious prayers that he comes through this too.

Home from our vet, emergency appointment with Bo. No circulation or reflex response in hind legs and left front leg, minimal response in right front leg. Heart galloping again. Possible threw clot and/or neurological (possible spreading of the sinus/neck mass spreading to brain/spinal cord).
Despite this yet again another challenge (with each challenge he has rallied, a little more frail, but recovers) continues to indicate he's not ready yet. Eating, responsive and affectionate to all.
Dr gave him inj methemezole with fluids and b12. We talked about aspirin once every three days, but holding off pending to see if methemezole helps. Hoping that if spinal swelling, the methemezole will help reduce swelling. We've all seen how miraculous Bo is. Dr cautions that this may be it, but holding that Bo may surprise us all at least one more time.

Sootie's +10 bg: right ear 153, left ear 157. Yep, yet again one ear reads lower than the other (maybe bc it's the one that gets pricked less often?). Just ate about 1/4 cup's worth of supper. That's pretty good. Rechecking bg in an hour or two.

I let myself get thrown off rythms with upstairs kitties this afternoon. Bo very aware, sits up takes notice, is very much with it, eating...a lot..., drinking, pee'ing (goodly poop at vet this morning), conversing, but no mobility and no circulation in hind legs. So keeping him and bedding clean, changing his positions, cuddle wuddles and massaging his legs with warm compresses.

Azalea (eye injury: corneal puncture and possibly lens puncture)), very much in seclusion from the others for her recovery, eating well, still good about her antibiotic eye drops and remedies. She gets her pain pill at night.

Wishing all and :bighug:,:bighug::bighug: and thank you all for your caring and :bighug::bighug:

Sootie's pm at 7:41pm EST = 132. A bit lower than +10, eating a bit more too. Not dosing.

Civvie Azalea eating supper, was ok with the antiobiotic eye med dose. Not pushing too much at a time, pain med a little later. The swelling in her injured eye hasnt receded much but it's not increasing, that's a glimmer of good sign. Her best buddy, DH, hanging out with her right now.

Civvie Bo still with us, eating and aok with feline version of sponge baths and adding my version of the Sister Kenney approach of warm compresses and massage to encourage circulation and especially movement in limbs. To my surprise, he managed to groom himself a little tonight..."hey mama bean, I can do this!" May we all make it through the night.
