10/18 Racci AMPS-92,+3-87,+6-71,PMPS-96

Hi Lantus Land,

I'm still having computer problems, well actually cable problems with the internet. I'm back online again but no telling for how long. I keep fixing it from my end but it's something from Comcast's end. I have an appt for next week so until then I may have more of the same.

Racci woke up nice and green and is even greener now. She was just 49 @ +3 so will have to watch her. I'm low on strips though until my order arrives! yuck! I've been trying not to let her get so low because of that but she didn't eat a big meal last time and that's what did it on top of that low amps. I probably should have tried a +2 instead but that's usually a useless exercise since she's still going up. I have to spend 5x the cost or just use a different meter until the strips come. :YMSIGH: At any rate, her whole cat report is all good except I think her bottom infection might be back. :sad: I have to go to the vet on Monday to pick up her Adequan so if it looks like she needs it I'll pick up more AB's again too. Poor Racci.

Hopefully I won't lose internet today & I'll see you in a bit. :-D

Bummer your internet connection is acting up, what a nuisance! Hope it gets fixed soon.

Thanks! I'm really happy with her surf today. I hate to talk for fear of jinxing her but she's been doing great for several days this week. I hate that I had to bring her dose back up to do it but that's been the story of her life on insulin - up and down. As long as her bg is down it's ok, we'll just have to work the dose down again.

I'm more concerned about her bottom and hope I just saw irritation before and not her infection returning. I'll get a good look again later when I clean her again.

The internet going on and off is driving me nuts. Every time it goes out all my settings get screwed up and I have to fix everything. I hope they figure out what's wrong on their end before they get here and fixx it so I don't have to wait.

Hope she just has a little irritation and not infection.

Losing the internet is no fun .... don't want to be disconnected from all of you!!

Ack Comcast is such a pain! Although I have to say, they did show up when they said they would and the guy was nice. But so frustrating, isn't it?

I hope Racci isn't heading for another bum problem :-( I hope Racci's numbers stay nice and even for you this evening with no surprises, especially when you are low on strips!

Hi Melanie, sending some vines for Racci's bottom. I hear ya on the Internet Carrier connections problems. I had it last week and could not get a post typed as it would just freeze in place while I was typing. It's okay for now. I hope your strips arrived today. I hope Racci has a nice safe surf.

I'm really hoping that's what's going on and she just got irritated. I don't have too many places to get a really good look at her where she'll stay still an d there's light. She's so fussy about doing things in the correct spot! :smile:

All those companies are a pain! I have to say though, that out of all them I've tried so far, Comcast has the best customer service. Luckily Racci came up to a nice safe number and kept surfing green through pm time thanks!

I have a feeling I'm going to have to switch meters before the strips come next week unless they ship faster than they said they would which is possible. I was surprised they gave such a slow ship date this time. Luckily her bg came up enough and stayed up when she ate a decent lc meal instead of nibbling.
