I think we may be working on a hairball. (Well, Polly's working on it; I'm watching for it!) Odd occurrence around AM+11 yesterday. She retched up a little yellowish liquid (a once a week happening usually) and simultaneously squirted a little grainy watery poo on the floor. Of course, she dragged her floofy tail through the poo. Even after a pretty thorough wash down (she hated that) and comb out, she still had to spend tons of time grooming. Yup, I suspect there's a hairball brewing.
No evidence of anything odder than usual in any of the boxes. She's eating well. Seems fine. Right now she's out in the enclosure on a big dog bed soaking up a great fall sun.
Will (the dog) goes up to the clinic at work today. Old dog bumps...or? He had a mast cell tumor removed a couple years ago so need to check. His cruciate surgery knee, also a couple of years ago, is stiffening, need to check that out. And we need bloodwork to check his liver values since they can be iffy.
Other than eagle-eyeing Polly and vet visiting with Will, a lazy Sunday. Thank goodness!!
