Yesterday was a blue and yellow day.

I have no idea what is happening to Neko's numbers. She all of a sudden gone yellow for a couple of cycles after showing me little yellow and mostly blue and green. I don't think there's been fur shots. The cartridge is only 40 days old and I've seen most people on Lev get more than that. The cartridge looks fine, but I wonder if something hot was put in the fridge or it got too close to something frozen, or Neko could just be having a yellow phase. I'll give her one more cycle tonight to see if it's a weird bounce from I know not what, and then I'll try a new cartridge. And if that doesn't work, you know what comes next Neko!

Neko seems mostly fine, although a little quieter. I think she was getting more comfortable in blues. I pulled a fast one on her this morning. She wanted out the front door after breffs so I let her out. Little did she know that we've removed the steps to the deck (for painting) and that's her usual route back in. She came readily to me when I opened the front door but she was looking at where the steps should be when I went out. :lol:

Today was not a bad day for her to be yellow. We did manage to get the high school regatta done and I did give her the shot this morning (I hope). It started two hours late due to fog. It sure feels cold when foggy, but the fog did lift around 200 ft which was enough for us to get the races in. On the really good news side of things, I got my laptop back from repair. :-D

Charms and I were worried that you got lost in that scary fog! Glad the fog lifted enough for the high school regatta.
I hope Neko's numbers come down. But I would be worried about playing even a small prank on a cat! Retaliation!!! -Sam

Neko? What are you doing up there!?

I hope Neko will get back to her new normal blue/green numbers soon, and you'll get to keep the existing cartridge.
It's good it wasn't the way DOWN where the step went missing.

Whew! Big sigh of relief to see her back in blues tonight. Maybe I'll just blame last night's full moon party. :lol:

@Sam - Still supposed to be foggy here for a couple of days, but where we live is usually above the fog. But still very foggy on the water. I was on shore. ;-) She did get back to blues, so for now it's just a yellow mystery. The stairs should be back in place in a day or two.

@Rhiannon - It would have been a very big jump for Neko - 13 steps. :lol: Love the pic - it reminds me of the university I went to. There was one unfinished part where there were stairs leading up to a cement wall. Messing with student's minds.

@Mariko - Back to blues. :-D :-D The cartridge is about half empty, would be a shame to throw it out already. The top of the stairs on the deck is very much blocked off. We don't want any kitty divers.

All in all, sounds like a good day at your house - got your regatta in, & Neko got back into the rhythm of things & went blue later in the day. I'm glad you didn't have to go rowing in the fog - that sounded very scary last time, Wendy. Hope you had fun at the regatta & congrats on the laptop - I feel useless without mine - especially since we can't use smart phones here.

Ann (& Tess) has used her Levemir for quite a long time, I'm pretty sure. Paws crossed it was just full moon wonkiness. I'd say the same about Tigger, but it would have to be several weeks of full moons for him! :lol: :roll: ohmygod_smile

Glad Neko came back down for you. Would have like to see her face as she was inspecting where the steps were supposed to be :lol:

After a bad case if FMW (full moon wonkiness, Thanks for that Suzanne), she's back to business.

@Jane - stereostatic radiation therapy (SRT) is currently the only known way to try to cure acromegaly. There are 2 places in North America who do this procedure for animals. We went to Colorado Statue University Veterinary teaching hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.

I always let things cool before putting them in the refrigerator because I am afraid of hurting the insulin.

I try to make sure things are cool too before they go in the fridge. And put them as far away from the insulin as possible. But it seems that wasn't the problem.
