Yesterday Neko teased me with an almost solid pink day. I was so pleased to see that blue this morning, especially since she went down all of 5 points from her +3 to her +4 last night. She was whining for brekkie this morning before I got up and I had images of having to move the dose up again. I still might, but we'll see where today goes first.

10/18 Recap:
AMPS 383 +3 439 +6 366
PMPS 323 +3 332 +4 327

When Neko was whining before the alarm this morning, I picked her up from the kitchen chair and brought her to bed. We spent a few minutes snuggling together and I got the purr engine going. I love that sound SO much better than "I'm hungry!". She is a lot happier in these kinds of numbers than she was yesterday.

It's a cloudy day here with the odd bit of blue sky. Neko is currently parked in her basket in the solarium. DH and I were out rowing this morning. The maples are starting to turn yellow so the scenery was even more beautiful than ever. It's almost the end of the season.

Re: 10/19 Neko AMPS 168 +4 208

sure has been windy over here on the island, but the sun peeks out now and then and at least there isn't torrential rain anymore (for now!). Hope our boys decide to surf some nice blue numbers tonight so that there aren't any PJ parties going on!!! Looks like Neko is having a day of nice colours so far.

Re: 10/19 Neko AMPS 168 +4 208

It really does sound like fall there, unlike here where it alternates between winter and summer!

I hope Neko decided to stay on the blue floor today.

What kind of fuds does Neko eat? You said its venison?

Hey Neko, didja come back down? Thanks for visiting us Wendy - your note is much appreciated. Have a great night - Lisa & Leo

So Neko did decide to swoop down to the green floor for a quick visit. I makes me wonder if I've missed other times she's done this. That's quite a drop from +6 to +8 and an equally quick bounce back up a 1/2 hour later. I'm not looking forward to the PMPS number. She seems to have forgotten how to surf the greens.

@Pip - I would be happy with blue tonight, but I expect that Miss Liver will have something to say about that. It sure was nice to see her out of pinks for a stretch.

@Tracy - we have quite the long fall here and it ended up sunny so it was nice to get out and enjoy it. Neko will eat anything put in front of her, except freeze dried shrimp. That's the only food I've seen her reject. Her current raw food rotation (2 meals before switching) is chicken, kangaroo, turkey and venison. Every couple of weeks I mix it up with other meats. Tomorrow is lamb, which is more of a winter/warming meat, other times I'll give rabbit or a chicken/salmon combo. Getting organic, non medicated venison is hard (unless you have a hunter in the family) so that's why it's usually a bit pricier than the other meats. I know the person who does the procurement for the raw food company I order from, so get to hear the details.

@Carla - Neko did do blues with a quick zip down to green to check it out.

@Lisa - Hey Leo, I checked out those greens, but they was scary so I zoomed back up. I like frustrating the bean with those high ones! Lisa, I can only imagine how scary that travel was with Leo. I've got all paws crossed here you can lick FD soon and get back to normal life again. Of course, getting a job closer to home would also work.

Hi Wendy, thanks for stopping in this evening. Neko's had a really nice cycle today. Our weather is just starting to move from summer to winter, just the two seasons. I'm glad you and DH got some rowing, sounds so nice with the scenery. It's nice to see Neko dip into green. Hope she has a nice surf.

Woohoo, Neko! :-D :-D :-D It's great to see her doing so well on 1/3 the dose of pre-SRT. Wonderful scenery for the last of the season's rowing.

She must have thought I missed the pinks, so brought them back for a repeat performance. ohmygod_smile She was whining for food an hour before dinner in the way that told me she was going high, so no surprise. The day was good while it lasted.

@Ann - yes, it was a very nice cycle today. It's been a while so I was so happy to see it, just wish she'd do more than dip and retreat from greens. But at least I know the dose has potential. The day ended up being a nice one. The forecast earlier was for all showers so it was nice to see the blue sky and get out and enjoy it.

@Liz - we did have a great run of reductions post SRT and seem to have slowed down a bit, but when you say 1/3 the dose, that is pretty amazing! I l love rowing where we do, it's so beautiful. So many people row on lakes or rivers and it's just back and forth, so we feel privileged to be on the ocean and looping around islands.

@Rhiannon - the day was indeed much better numbers, put the pinks are back. One day I hope she'll learn not to bounce so dramatically. Tomorrow is 8 months on Lantus and still bouncing. :YMSIGH:

Clear that bounce Neko! Think blue & green. Mum beans love surfing the blue in the PM cycle, find your way there!
