Well I pulled the 'night shift' last night. I didn't get all the numbers I would have liked to, should have gotten a +8 and +10, but I think I would have thrown Phoenix to the coyotes, if I had to deal with him again. :evil: He needs to get a poke or two and maybe he wouldn't be so jealous of his sister!!
Can any one interpret her "curve"? I think, in one way it is a good thing, because she isn't going way up and then diving way down.....but I don't like the numbers. She did drop a bit more after I stopped checking her....but I am sure there is no way she went into the greens before coming back up to 289.
I went ahead and gave her 4.5 units this morning and will be monitoring her closely the rest of the day. (between naps :lol
I should have the ketone strips today, so will also check that. I think the Breeze litter box will have to wait until tomorrow, as I won't want to leave her for as long as it will take me to drive to a PetSmart. But, at least I should know if she is throwing ketones.
She seems better today, so maybe I over reacted. She has been out all morning and she was very vocal this morning when it was time to test, so hoping that she is feeling better and my vet was right about settling back in to 'normal' after the antibiotics.
Hopefully, we see some progress into lower numbers today.
