Mannie wonders how his late night :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: surfing buddies are faring today... Tess? Gracie? you guys functional? How are the beans... Mannie had a great night - nice green surf for a while. It was nice to see 174 this morning - I hope he can maintain this without a bounce. maybe even get a return to a green AM surf. How about it Mannie? You up for it?

normalcy here in Mannieland this morning. :-D He never misses a morning bathroom session - always there to watch my feeble attempts at self -preservation. He must have this check list: shower, coffee, hair messin', more coffee, teeth, even more coffee, more hair messin', more coffee.... and when all is said and done he curls up in a ball and purrs, waits more pats and scritches. For the rest of the morning so far: breffis #1, and #2 (yay: auto feeder used!!), interior patrol, exterior ignored (too cold, and way to dark), nanners chewed, slobbered on, rolled on, and slept on. normalcy.

So nice to see normalcy in Mannie Land!! I guess those nighttime marathons are becoming normal??!! Anyway, have a great day Mannie, and a green surf. Any plans to hike today, Michelle? We went canoeing yesterday on a lake and river in the Central Adirondacks (not far from our camp). It was 34 degrees when we put the canoes in the water, and it started just then to hail!! But the day got gradually better (temp. reaching the upper 40s) and there was even occasional sunshine. We had lunch on a riverbank, near some rapids, and enjoyed watching 3 bald eagles fishing (and one very vocal raven, harassing them!). Loons are still here.

Mannie and Checkers started the day off together. Hope they both come down nice and slow. :-D

Hi Ella! Yep, we do seem to get alot of those nighttime marathons, it is becoming the norm... I do OK with them, but wow the next morning it is tough to get things moving at a normal pace. I had intended to hike today, but just couldn't get the jets up to full throttle this morning , so we will wait until this Thursday when once again the weather should be favorable, and Mannie hopefully cooperative. Yesterday's canoe trip for you sounds great - despite the hail. and 34! Sometimes temps like that make the best outings. My last hike it was 35 when I started, cold but sunny - just very nice. Isn't watching the bald eagles hunt the best thing? We have them here by the house down near the shore - and every now and then when it is people-less down there you can watch them hunt the sound. ospreys too - those are so fun - they actually dive into the water to catch the fish. great times!!, for you and for me. and what is it with the ravens, and the crows that harass the eagles? it's the same thing here. anyways... hike on TH, I hope I have a good 2-3 weeks yet before the snows hit the mountains.... how have you been functioning lately with so many late nights? I guess it's all good for Mannie though. He's just been wonderful

Nice AMPS for Mannie but it looks like a little bounce to a high yellow for him this morning. Curious, but Shadow had that same number as his bounce yesterday morning...time to turn around Mannie boy....

Hi Pat - i actually slept between +6.5 and the amps. DH fed the 7.5 and the +9... he can't test, but he can feed. so I hope all is well, feed what I think he will need, and hope for the best. but the bean is tired.... lots of ~O) in the morning, and a nice AM walk help with the "omg I am so tired", and gets things moving for the day.

Good job Mannie! Glad to see he's coming down again already. I, too, don't know how you do the repeated long nights and continue to get up the next morning. I didn't even have a late night last night, and I still overslept 1/2 hour this morning! :lol:

Mornin' Michelle...thanks for stopping by...boy I was sure envious last night when you got to bed and we were still up watching the hands of the clock altho we finally decided to "sleep" in 30 min spurts. Glad to see Mannie is coming down from that +2. Maybe the two of you can have a nice day together where he'll have an easy surf and you can rest. So cool you can see the bald eagles...your place sounds lovely.

Hey Mannie...my crazy little civvie brother is looking in the washing machine window as the clothes go around...he thinks it's "CAT TV" :lol: :lol:

Thanks guys - he's doing OK - love those green nights, not too sure about that +7.5, but guess we shall see what he does. I took off for a walk to the shoreline - it was too nice to stay indoors. Had a grand time. it was very foggy down there, made for some great photos. I am awake now -- nothing like 43 degrees out there to wake you up...

Is Mannie confused today? Or did he just decide that he likes yellow. He can hang out with Gabby - although I have no idea what she's up to and she refuses to call her numbers in to me when I'm at tbp.

As you can see from the time of this post I totally zoned out after last night. I kept falling asleep between tests too. Looks like you are having a functional morning, but Mannie, who is passing out those pogosticks?

Hey Ann - debatable on the functional. Just couldn't get it moving this AM - I had hoped to go hike as today weather is perfect... but alas... the brain and the bod disagreed. Would have been a good day to go to - what with Mannie and his new contraband which I think he got from Binks. pogo sticks - they seem to be the latest rage!

Tess - we need another day by the pool. I've been sleeping all day.............. my bean keeps moving me from sunbeam to sunbeam. annoying, but nice. See you later? ~~ Mannie

So glad to have a chance to visit your condo today - life has been too busy, and I miss hearing about all the adventures everyone has been having!

Don't count on sleeping much tonight, Michelle, if Mannie is gonna drop like Checks did at +3. Wish I could stay up to see who else ends up here tonight. I'm too old for this. Waaahhhh!

Hi Mannie and Michelle - looks like you might get to catch up on some sleep tonight. Thanks for checking on me, we weren't around much while I dealt with some personal stuff; gradually getting my legs back under me and moving forward and trying to get back into the comfort of a routine.

And just when it looks like you will be able to sleep tonight, Mannie may start one of those famous dives (anti-jinx). So you got some more photographs today? I'll have to go snooping, I love to look at your pictures. Have a good night.
 
Hi Kim - and thanks! we are glad you are back. routines are good - kinda keeps things level - always a good thing.

Funny on maybe one of his famous dives - i was thinking the same thing, while hoping not... we seem to be yellow for the duration tonight. YA!: sleep!!!!!

i did post some more photos, yesterday i think, from a hike I did last thursday. I had hoped to get out today, just never quite got out, last nights marathon with Mannie word me out.. Hopefully I will this TH. Paws crossed!

NI NI LL! I am beat.....
