10/19 Butters AMPS 338/+5 331/PMPS 322/

Afternoon Lyla, glad to see her BG coming down this morning.
I hear you about sleeping on the couch.
When Perry was over dosed on his phenobarbital I slept on the floor next to him .
Boy that was so comfortable lol
You are doing a great job Lyla ♥
Good sign not face planting in her for this morning.
I'm praying every day for her , that sweet baby.
She's got to be alright and get thru this.
Will be checking back later ♥:bighug::bighug:

You’re such a good kitty mama! Hope you and Butters got some rest and snuggles in today. :)

When Bernie had her anal gland abscess last month, the gabapentin by itself didn’t really slow her down, but lemme tell ya - when she was on gaba and still had butorphanol in her system (another opioid), she was obtunded as all get out. She got home from the ER and legit stared at the wall for 20 minutes straight LMAO

Hope Butters continues to feel better and heal! :bighug::bighug:

I hope she's feeling better this evening...sorry I've been absent all day - but the ORSchedule aka/my boss was on Facetime a lot today...we didn't stop working until 6 p.m....and tomorrow isn't looking much better...

I can certainly understand 12 alarms...I set alarms to remind me just to test and shoot Luci! I'm sure I'd do the same...they're great reminders to pull you out of whatever you're focused on to get Miss Butters what she needs :)

You're doing a wonderful job with her and I'm sure she's happy to be back at home in mama's loving care.

Have a wonderful evening Lyla! Best to you both as she improves!:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Glad to hear she is comfortable. Is she eating decently?
She has been an eating machine. I think high BG may have something to do with that.

Thank you Diane. You are so sweet. :bighug::bighug:
Nothing comfy about being on the floor! Lol! You are the best mama.
She goes out pretty cold for several hours after each 25mg dose of the gabapentin. Loud snoring too.

Thanks Megan! Poor Bernie! What an ordeal that must've been for her and you.:bighug: So glad she is on the up and up now.
I hope I don't sound like a terrible mom for saying this, but when Butters came home she just sat there frozen and stared into space for about 15 minutes straight, then she got the munchies. I was gonna toss her a bag of potato chips but then remembered she is a diabetic, so I gave her some chicken instead. Good times.

LOLOL!!! Bernie did too!!! After she broke her couch-lock wall-trance, she ate like 4 ounces of food hahaha!!
You definitely don’t sound like a terrible mom - gotta laugh where we can :cat::cat::cat:
