Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late post! Billie has been up and down today. She did eat a little more on her own. Not a lot, but it's still progress. She had moments of seeming more like herself. She definitely seemed steadier and less weak in her back legs. She was more adventurous, too. She walked across the back of the couch, and she tried to jump up onto DBF's desk chair to hang out with him (he helped her out and picked her up). At other times, she has seemed more tired, but that's okay. I'm sure she needs her rest.
She just got her first round of subq fluids. Only 50 ml - being cautious because of her heart issues. That went well. She's sleeping now.
I'm relieved that it's the weekend and DBF and I can be home with her. We're sleeping on the couch so we can be closer to where she's hanging out (under the dining table, for some reason). We'll see how she feels tomorrow.
