All is well in Trixie's world: happy appy, snugglebug status heavily maintained, gelcaps relatively smooth, Ms P is on the job....and an added bonus of some very entertaining zoomies this morning
!! It's still odd to see her get all zoomed up from time-to-time, but it's also awfully cute. She was running around for a few minutes, all wild-eyed, and then settled in for a nice round of Fancy Feast. I think it started as a Happy Crap Dash - I saw her walk out of the LB room right before the zoomies started, but I didn't see the "evidence" she left behind, since I was tending to other kitties and such.
I didn't speak with my Dad yesterday but did have a few e-mails...I knew my Mom would be overwhelmed with having her oh-so-charming (not) brother visiting, so I didn't want to add to her chaos by calling. But he said he's feeling good....sounded like a typical day of eating, napping, and researching stuff. He spent most of his life doing research - his field of study is Electrical Engineering. Now, he's interested in researching cancer - from diagnosis to treatment to finding new treatments. This isn't little internet researching...so far he's gotten himself some pretty heavy duty books on microbiology and DNA, which he decided on after spending weeks researching where to begin. Nothing like a little light reading to get you through chemo treatments, right?? It's definitely giving him the will to fight his own battle.
Normally my Saturdays are a little more "leisurely" since DH is here to help with kitties while I get ready for work, but today he is swimming in a Master's swim meet, so it's hectic-as-usual for this bean. Gotta get moving...have a great day, LL!
