Hi Everyone,

Rusty is resting in the grotto today. It's another rainy day and so far he has shown no interest in going outdoors. When I went out early this morning to see why the squirrels were making such a racket, I saw the red fox under the tree they were sitting in! She/he is a beautiful animal with the most gorgeous foxtail. "Fox" saw me and walked calmly toward the driveway and then trotted into the woods. Clearly she/he is home here! Rusty came to the door and saw the fox, too. He didn't want to go out!!
Today is the first day of deer season. I hope "our" deer have the sense to stay in the village. I fear for the little buck, who is 2 years old now and has a small rack.

We just got back from the landfill. Earlier I baked cookies ( with Tobey's help) for our mountain club's monthly
potluck tomorrow. Still haven't gotten to my paperwork. Maybe tomorrow, when we're supposed to have snow.

Those blues aren't bad. Hopefully Rusty will get back to the lagoon soon. How cool on the fox.

SNOW?????????????? Seriously????? omg, it is that time of year. I read of snow in the northern elevations here too....

It is a resting day for Rusty chilling in the grotto. In a way I always liked those low blue days when Mannie had them. Not too low, not high, just even and decent. Surf well today Rusty.

Wow on the fox. I bet he is beautiful. And it us deer season too? wow, fall/winter surely is upon us. ;-) The weather sound awful. Rusty, best to stay indoors.... Lola, Bug and Elsa are here too.

I will hope you guys have a good day today. Maybe that paperwork after all? not my fav thing either...

Ella! I finally got a pic of that 'baja bug' that KT and Doc keep babbling about. Thought I'd share here - Doc reminded me Rusty's already seen it... :-D

Talk about a flat day! It looks like the evening won't be so flat!!! Rusty slept almost all day. Our weather is horrible. I hope everyone else's is better!!

Nice baja bug, Lyresa! We had our bug for 21 years, at which point "he" was running on memory!

Nice to see the LagoonMeister back on duty. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Snow! Good thing you got the car winterized last week. We haven't even had a frost here yet.

Looks like we'll set an alarm tonight! The LagoonMeister has moved to the deep end of the lagoon.

p.s. After starting the day in the mid 50s, we are now at 38 degrees with "mixed" precipitation. We plan to lead a paddle on Monday, so I hope the weather will warm up a bit by then.
 
OMG, snow?!! Really?! Wow. We were in the 80s today.

Hey Rusty, I thought you got all the sharks out of the lagoon last night. Are you making sure they didn't come back? Better get up on your surf board, just in case. :mrgreen:

I hope your weather warms up in time for your paddle.
 
Yikes! LagoonMeister is really venturing to the deep end toight. Surf safe Rusty! :mrgreen:

Snow. :shock: :shock: Brr. We are in denial here. Supposed to get to the mid 60's tomorrow. Paws crossed for good paddle weather.
