Good Morning, Everyone,

Our hearts go out to Libby this morning.

Rusty is beginning the day in blue and that is great after the yellows of the last week. The new dose seems to have kicked in (antijinx). We had a good night, a wake-up with head butts and ear licks, good test, breakfast, shot, and now a kitty who wants desperately to go outside to check on the squirrels (but I have to take Edward to yoga and then take my car in to find out what is wrong with it). Lots to do today and all of it dependent upon what happens at the repair shop. I may have to take a taxi back here if they can't fix the car while I wait. In times like this it was much easier to live in the city, where all I had to do was hop on the subway!

Hi Ella, a nice AMPS this morning for Rusty with the new dose. I think he's doing well. Good luck with the car. It might be possible they could give you a ride home depending on the repair shop and availability of someone. I hope it's nothing too major with the repairs. Have a nice day.

Good luck with your car - I hope it is something minor... and that you can wait, no taxi home...

Hi again,

I had to take a taxi home and will be carless until Thursday! It was a wheel bearing (very loose; dangerous to drive!!) and they have to get one from Subaru (will be in late tomorrow), so my "Ranger Roy" won't be ready until some time on Thursday. It sure is a good thing that we decided not to go to NYC this past Sunday! Fortunately I don't have to go anywhere this week and the weather is miserable, so no one has posted a paddle for this week. So we will just stay home, walk in the village, and play with Rusty. We plan to go to NYC on Sunday (we rescheduled our dentist appointments for Mon.).

Rusty was out watching birds (and being scolded by them) before lunch and is waiting not so patiently to go out again. We may have a flat blue day today, if I can judge from the +5.5.

Thank goodness you postponed your trip! Sorry about no car til Thursday tho. Rusty's looking great today! Muffin's getting very excited about the Halloween Party!

Ella I sure like the stories about hiking and canoeing so much better than car repairs and taxis. I guess the bright side is sometimes life is kind and waits until the end of a beautiful season to kick back in!

Lovely colors for Rusty today and I'm glad the new dose is just what he needed!

wow, good thing you got the car fixed before there was a serious problem while you were driving!

i tried to answer your question yesterday and my computer just blinked and turned off! cranky computer! my son has been out protesting at Bank of America (where we bank) with the anti-wall street group. he LOVES that kind of thing. he had a friend video him reading a statement about B of A and then he went in and closed his accounts. He moved his $$ to our credit union. He had spent the night outside (or some of it!) just to watch the night sky.

that dose increase was just the thing for rusty today! nice and blue all day!

Much better numbers for Rusty!!!! I'm glad to see him having these nice surfs.

I'm so sorry to hear about the car and you've had to delay your plans again. It's very good you caught it before you headed to NYC.

Rusty....Tobes here....tank you for the wonderful cimmamum smoothie yesterday and all dem cupcakes you and Mannie baked for ME!!! I'm so happy!!! Auntie Ellabean: I was a brave boy just for you!!! I wanted my favorite auntie to be very proud of me. Tanks for remembering me and helping to make those surprises. I lubs you!!!
 
Way to go Rusty! Did you do anything hinky to your beans' car to keep them close to home for more outdoor squirrel and bird watching time?
