10/18 Pepper AMPS 467 - dose advice

Pepper's numbers seem to be going in the wrong direction. What do I do now? Increase the dose again? How much? I'm really worried. Thanks for your help.

Hi Dyana - how much of an increase would be appropriate? And why are his numbers going up even though I've been increasing his dose? Thanks!

Some cats just take more insulin to get them going. I'd increase to 3.5u. We've had cats get to much larger doses before they started to climb back down in dose.

Thanks Sienne. I really can't wait for Pepper to start going down! I know everyone says it's a marathon and not a sprint, but it feels more like a crawl across hot coals!

Hi Nancy, I'm sure Pepper's numbers will come down. PurrFace was high for a while but eventually showed a bit smaller numbers. One thing I can tell you is that you're in great hands here. We have been using Lantus about the time you have and think it's much better than Humulin N which PurrFace was originally on. Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say hello and let you know that we are all pulling for you and Pepper. Have a good evening.
