Yesterday was...... BLUE day in MannieLand!, with a splash of yellow, and a sprinkle of pink. ;-) WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live on the North Cascades Train, as it meandered through the mountain ranges of the PNW  Well done kitties! Mannie made a nice recovery from his start in the morning, with a nice slow descend to the blues, where he spent the rest of the day. AWESOME! Can we do that again today Mannie? Without the pink that is... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The boys have been reunited once again, Nickolas was glad to see Mannie. Mannie was glad to see Nicholas, once he confirmed that the SPEED RACER wasn't there, and that THE VOICE was just the voice.  It really is very cute how Nicholas looks for him when he first gets here. Today he brought Mannie his rainbow nanners, made sure that I knew Mannie's fuds bowl was empty, and supervised his testing. He tries so hard with the setting. He did great until he dropped the meter, and broke it.  Oh well, this is why I have more than one. We told him it was OK, and showed him Mannie's readings, which was all the meter would do at that point.   It was so great when he patted Mannie on the head after the readings, before taking off to parts of the house unknown. Mannie just retired to his nanners.... Good job guys! This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday - I will try and get to condos once DGS has gone home for the day. Today we hopefully visit a mountain lake, depending upon the weather. Paws crossed that Mannie gives us a permission slip... I will miss you guys, and your furkids! Be good kitties! think blue, think green!

Hey everybody! WOO HOO on yesterday and the train ride. I SO LUBBED that! We gots to again!! Maybe we an go to the dunes today - I so feel the need for some dune buddy's! What do you guys think? We could hunt lizards and grill and stuff. You guys in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~ Mannie

And completely OT: here are some photos from my and DGS's adventure yesterday. Swimming and the Sammamish River. I've also included the FaceBook links for anyone that wants to see all the photos and a set of videos: Swimming and Sammamish River

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235

Go, Mannie...including clear that big ole fuds spike there!!!

Love the underwater picture of Nicolas!! What a fish. When I see kids his age at my local pool, they're holding on to their parents for dear life and start screaming if their heads get wet...but not your DGS. WOW - I bet you've got an Olympic champion on your hands there!!!

Have a great day, Michelle!

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235

Morning Michelle and what a great day for Mannie. ~O) ~O) Oh boy, Mannie, can't wait for that special caramel hazelnut white chocolate coffee drink and just in time, too! What nice blues for Mannie yesterday. Mannie, let's see you do that again and give your Bean a day pass with your special buddy, Nicholas. Too bad about the meter, but those accidents happen. I also have extras; you just reminded me I'd better get strips for it.
Have a great day with DGS. Great pics and hat a cute FISH! He is having the time of his life.

Mannie the dunes sounds great and catchin lizzies. I'll be at the curb, Mags

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235

235 @ +1. Sheshhhhh.... what a spike. perhaps someone had gone lower than I thought during the night, like green maybe? Mannie? Of course he isn't talking.... Well, looks like DGS and I have our permission slip for today. We will get a few more tests in though... Blue, Mannie OK?

Hi Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) - WOW on that +1. spike indeed! Hey - thanks on the pics. Nicholas just loves the water. It is nice to have a camera that does underwater. I so love to see that smile when he is under. I know on most kids. I took it slow with him. we spent three weeks just visiting the pool before he actually got wet. This way he knew the place, saw what kids did there, and was willing to go in, no issues. It took to it right off, some clingy stuff until he was reassured it was OK, saw hat other kids, older kids, thought it was OK too. Sure would love to have a swimmer on my hands... paws crossed.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) That it was! I hope he will repeat today, after we get through that spike. In a way I am glad to see it, a permission slip without any worry. Hopefully he will take a slow trip down back to the blues, like yesterday. and yes on the meter - I have dropped it many times, it just took his efforts to bring on he inevitable. I need now to take inventory - see just what I have meter wise, replace and/or get new. They are all so old....  YUPP love the FISH - that he is: the time of his life: well said!
Auntie Ann ? I am on my way with this mornings ~O) delivery - you watch for me... coming around the bend now... ~~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Maggie! Cool then - I will picks you up, like usual, after my ~O) ~O) deliveries... I hope Tess is up, and that the dunes are good. Ah heck..we will go anyways! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

I see us with capable petsitters in the future.

Mannie is again giving you a pass to go have fun with Nicholas today. Enjoy!

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235, +2 224

Well it doesn't look like you'll have a limbo day so far.
Always someone around here trying for "how low can you go".
Have a good day with Nicholas.
At least the meters are the cheap part, just don't want him to break the strips.

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235, +2 224, +3.5 147, +4 151

Great job Mannie!! He's been having such wonderful cycles lately, Michelle, I'm sure you're just thrilled. Hopefully he will continue to surf here so you and Nicholas can go on about your day. Too cute how he helps with testing, probably well worth the price of a new meter. Thanks for sharing your experience with I131 in Muffin's condo last night - great to know you were so happy to have done it. I had to push Shnookie's appt back a couple hours, as he is nowhere to be found. Odd, because no one's fed him yet. He was here early this morning, and apparently left without being fed, and now isn't coming when I call him. Oh well, he'll turn up soon, I'm sure. Have a great day!

Mannie - I'd lubs to go to da dunes an' gets lizards! I be inna winnow! Lubs, Muffin

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235, +2 224, +3.5 147, +4 151

Hey Michelle,
Thanks for checking up on us last night!! Looks like you got your "pass" from Mannie to go adventuring today with Nicholas. Sorry about the meter. Good thing you have back-ups (and back-ups for the back-ups).

Mannie, lookin' good in middle blues. Just right for the dunes today. Keep it going, OK. Blue Mannie Group can stage a concert in the dunes for delighted dune walkers.

Have a great day,

Ella & Rusty

Yo Mannie, Grillin' lizards on the dunes after dune buggying sounds great. See ya later,
Rusty

I agree 100%. Having a kid interested is a terrific thing, and it's really great to hear he wanted to help.

Yo Mannie, my man. Hook me up with some lizards and I owe you one. You still have time to spring me if you hurry tho - I'm tossing low greens to the bean again instead of getting into the Carrier of Doom. This is fun!   ~Leo

Re: 10/18 Mannie AMPS 124, +1 235, +2 224, +3.5 147, +4 151

Right back into the blues !
file.php
How about adding us to you barrista delivery route in the mornings. Make mine a venti! I don't know how the boy does it, barrista, chef, and just about full time gigs w/ the BMG! When does he find nanner time??!!!

I look at my friends grand kids and think the same thing, Nicholas seems so much more mature. Poster boy for getting active and out in nature early!

Sounds like nick thinks you need to update the meter too. Here's a good review i found of the Presto.

Mannie, Come early it is going to be hot again today! We can nap in the cool dark house later. WOW! Driving that train was fun, no wonder daddybean likes them so much! -- Tess

Re: 10/18 Mannie PMPS 182

182 @ PMPS. YAY!! We are still BLUE! What a great day for Mannie. :-D :-D

Hi Carla - Thansk! And me too. Love the blues!

Hi Anne - that he has, and yes I am. It took what seems like forever to get here, so we are more than pleased. The greens are bit elusive, but sometimes I think I miss them: either when out, or when sleeping. He did well today. I carbed him up a little when we went out, just to be safe, and still came home to a mid blue number. That was nice to see. And yes on DGS and the testing - I think it's great, and as you say - well worth the cost of a meter.  Good luck with your decision on Shnookie and the I131. Maybe he got wind that he was off to the vetty, and decided no way was he going. My Elsa will do that. she takes off and hides if she figures it out.
MUFFINS!!!!!!!!!!!!! You gots it! I am so happy you can come.Picks you up! ~~ Mannie

HI Ella - Glad all is well with you after yesterday - we was worried! I hope you survived your hike, even as tough as it was it sounded great! Mannie did, more or less, give us a permission slip. He was headed down, but we fed to help him stay steady, as he was close to nadir. I will laugh over the meter loss - DGS tried so hard, no way could I be mad at him. Besides - I knew it's days were numbered: I've dropped it many times before.  Yes, back ups for the back ups!!!
Auntie Ella Bean! We dids it! A Blue Mannie group performance in the Dunes!!! It was way cool! ~ ~Mannie
YO RUSTY!! DUDE! I am so there - this will be good. and Muffin is coming! See ya - Tess says the weather is great too. ~~ Mannie

HI Lisa - I agree too - it is so cute to watch him try and help me. I'd do video if I didn't need both hands for Mannie. He is so gentle, knows exactly what to down hen. LOVE IT!
LEO _ DUDE! You gots it! heeheehee.... you gots your bean cornered again huh, Way to go dude, anything to get out of that carrier thing. They are darn freaky, ya know? heeheehee - we wil spring you for a few ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - that he did. WOW! And there is my blue smilie!! I played it safe this AM, carbed him up, since I knew we'd be gone for about 5 hours. He was mid blue and clsoe to nadir, but shsehhhh.... one never knows with him, so elected to carb him up a little, hoping I wasn't killing a nice blue surf. It was nice to come home to a 176, and not have him through the roof. LOL on Mannie and his many hats. I wish I had his energy! i dunno on the time... I secretly suspect cloning...    and  on that! Hey - many thanks on nicholas. He really does thrive on all of this - took to it right off - no way will we stop.when asked what he wants to do he will go and get his shoes and coat so he can go out, and not just to the yard, he wants to walk. Cool, huh! he is one bright inquisitive little boy. Thansk for the meter info. Now that I am down one maxima, guess it really is time to for new. WOO HOO!
Auntie Ann, Uncle John? You gots it! I put you on my delivery list WOO HOO! Mannie, kitteh barista is getting lots of customers! I like you guys - you are into VENTI's! Sweet!! ~~ Mannie

Tess! Were we early enough? I tried so hard to be early... I IUBS early. It was so great to nap in the house afterwards. I liked that part. I hope your beans were OK with us eating all the snack stuff. ~~ Mannie

Re: 10/18 Mannie PMPS 182

Nice blue run today for Mannie, sounds like a wonderful day in Mannieland and nice pics :-D You always comment how much Mannie loves his nanners, so I ordered some for our herd to try, should be here by next week. Enjoy your evening!

Re: 10/18 Mannie PMPS 182, +2 220

220 @ +2. Food spike! or so I am telling myself. UI hope he will head back to the blues tonight.

and I forgot to mention earlier - Nicholas and I had GREAT time up at Snoqualmie Pass. We went to Gold Creek Pond, just off the top of the mountain pass. What a great place! it was a loop hike, about a 1.5 mile circle around this beautiful small lake, well pond they call it. The water was crystal clear, the mountains within view, fall colors everywhere. What a glorious time! I will post photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Leslie - it was a nice blue run. Looking good today. Oh cool on the nanner order! I hope your krew likes them. Mannie really does - top of his list, they are all he will play with. Sleeps on them too. YAY! Sure do hope they go over well there.

Sorry for the late post Michelle, but it looks like Mannie is lovin' the blues. I think I can hear the music from here! It is so nice to see him doing so well on this dose. I look forward to the pictures tomorrow. You must have gotten out and back before the weather turned.

Michelle

Thank you for the late post - I just got it this morning, but I always check for late posts, and you're was so wonderful. I could just cry again. It made me feel some relief at your kindness and your story and encouragement. Thankyou.

Mannie Mannie my special little barista kitteh - I luvs you so much for caring, your parties and band, and for gathering up the gang for fun trips. You're the greatest! Sorry I had to make a cup of boring old coffee to get me up and to the gym, but I'd love a cup of your regular special (haha "regular special") later today when the Mannie Shop opens.

Thank you both.

Lisa & Leo

Morning Wendy - thanks - sure seems like he likes these blue cycles. I sure will not complain. :-D And yes - we did get out in between weather systems. There was about a 6/7 hour break before it started to rain really hard again. We got lucky!

Morning Lisa - I am glad that what I wrote helped some. Mannie and I have been at this for a very long time, I know exactly how you feel. Sending you guys the best vibes we can muster.
Hey Auntie Lisa! I meet you at your gym, bring you better stuff than that ole boring coffee to get you moving. Not good, per Mannie kitteh barista ! ~~ Mannie
