Morning ~O) ~O) and hope Mannie is at work making his famous coffee! Well, heck we're back up in the yellows after some blues yesterday. I have to think the heat is affecting Maggie, too, and also her meds. At 4 am I have the air conditioning on to cool off the apartment. It's 70 degrees at 4 am! I'll be gone this morning for a Rheumatologist appt, plus a couple stops afterwards, and was hoping to use my feeder, but for some reasons both lids snapped off, and I'm having the hardest time getting them to resnap. Anyone else use this particular model? It's the CatMate two plate feeder with the neat compartment for an ice pak. I so rarely use it, but thought it would be nice today, especially with the ice pak. I'll leave the a/c on all day at 74 degrees, and it should be cool enough for Mags.
Reporting to Poo Patrol and Inspector Poo from Maggie, no poo yet! I guess those three days in a row wore Mags out, but hopefully later. I'm having Internet connection problems this time of the morning. I'll try and visit and then catch up later with everyone. Healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Re: 10/18 Maggie AMPS 264; +3 145

Wow...look at Maggie go with that +3!!!

I already miss the days when it was 70 degrees at 4:00am!! Around here, fall is so pretty, and I love boots, but my hands just don't function well when the temps drop below 60. Everyone teases me because I wear mittens from Sept - June!

I have no experience with the feeder...Trix rejected the feeder I tried with her last year...but I'm sure someone will know how to fix it! Good luck with the doc appt, and have a great day!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) and from Mannie, who is about to knock on your door, with a ~O)

Nice with the +3, back to the blues. I would think that maybe the heat is affecting her, and the meds. Maggie - time for another prezzie too.

bummer on the feeder. I believe that Ella and Rusty use that model. Maybe ask her?

Good luck too with your DR appt - hope that goes well.

Have a great day Ann!

This is a surprise and hope she comes up as I wanted to get on the road early to beat some peak traffic. Maggie's very quiet today and didn't do any spotting for her possum. I had to give her some flea drops as a month ago the Vet found some flea dirt. Maybe a slight reaction. I'm right on the first floor and it would be so easy to get them with all the shrubbery and blower when the Gardners work. SD seems to have big problem.

Thanks Mannie on that special brew. ~O) ~O) ~O) That will start off my day great! :-D I think I will just place the ice pak under the plate and keep the food cool that way. I'll try and get her to eat more before I leave am.

Thanks Amy, her numbers seem to go up and down a lot!

Very nice #s for Miss Maggie this morning. I hope for a beautiful, lower surf for you both very soon. I hear ya about the feeders.. My little miss houdini broke into hers the last time we used it, and we haven't used it since. Hoping for a positive outcome for your appointment. Have a good day.

Re: 10/18 Maggie AMPS 264; +3 145; +4 113

Good Morning Ann. Very nice of Miss Maggie, to give you blue numbers to go out. I hope she surfs in safe numbers while you're out.
I have no advice on the broken feeder. I never could get Checks to use this.. It didn't make noise when it opened, and he wouldn't go looking for food.
I hope she uses it today.

Re: 10/18 Maggie AMPS 264; +3 145; +4 113

Thanks Angela, darn feeder just broke yesterday, too.

Hi Barb & Checkers, Mags just had a nice helping of fuds, so she should surf along okay. Just when we need to leave, they surprise us,

Re: 10/18 Maggie AMPS 264; +3 145; +4 113; +4.5 99

Thanks on all the visits. I just had a whole post typed and lost it with the stroke of a key! I was gone a little longer than planned, so I skipped the errands. The doctor was behind schedule about an hour. No complaints though, as sometimes he spends a long time with me and keeps patients behind me waiting. Appt. went well, and I got some help on my shoulder.

Thanks Rhiannon, it was nice to see her flirting with the greens. Thanks on the poo vines.

Hi Devon, it sure did look like she wanted me to stay home.

Thanks Anne & Muffin, I hope this dose holds for her.

Thanks Ann & Tess, it looks like she did surf safe. I wish I had my camera ready to take a pic of her sleeping. Maybe I can still get one.

Nice green for Maggie! It counts! Bummer on the feeder lids. We don't use auto feeders so I am no help. Hope your rheumy went well. I always dread those for some reason. Have a great day Ann!

PMPS 417

Yikes! I expected Mags to be high, but not this high! I didn't know how long I'd be gone, so I let her have some FF T&G, more of the gravy/juice part.

Melissa, quite a bounce! I used the ice pak and just placed the plate in the feeder, minus the lid, and it did keep the food cool enough.

Re: 10/18 Maggie AMPS 264; +3 145; +4 113; +4.5 99; PMPS 417

I have the feeder Ann!!! And my DH always knocks the lids off  --The lids have a tab along the back of them, they slip into the back of the feeder (white tab slips into grey indentation in the back of the feeder)--Do it with the lids in the open position---easier...It seems hard but is really easy..I have mine for a long time, you may have a new fangled one
Just be gentle & you'll see the place to slip in the tab--
Look Maggie got a green!! Moonie too!! --
I got a prednisone shot tues. & feel much better after a flare...Hope you feel better too
Have a good evening--Hugs & Love from us!

Wow on that PMPS. I hope Maggie comes back down for you soon. I'm glad your doctor appointment went well. Hope it helps you feel better.

Not too much difference yet!

Roni, thanks on the CatMate feeders and the lids! So glad it isn't broken and funny with DH doing the same.

Anne & Zener, that Rainbow Kitty is so pretty, but did you ever think Maggie would be one! Mags likes it, but her Bean is mumbling under her breath.(:

Thanks Carla, now we will need to get Maggie back on track.

Wow Maggie whats up with the fiery numbers? How about some magical poo vines to help you settle down. Ann, glad your dr appt went well. Its great that your doc takes sufficient time with the patients, wish mine did. Enjoy your evening!

Down you go, Miss Maggie!! We don't like red numbers much!!

Hi Ann, Glad you got help from Roni with the feeder lids. They are designed to be removed for cleaning. If you still have the box, I believe the instructions are on it for removing and replacing them (but who needs the box when you have Roni!). I've never removed the lids from Rusty's feeder. I love this feeder. Rusty uses it as a tray table for all his meals. When we use it as an automat and plan to be out all day, I put in the ice block.

Sorry to get to your condo so late. Hope you had a good day.

Hugs,

Ella & Rusty

oh wow! I had to look three times t see if that was really Maggie's name next to those numbers... Come on down moggie girl, Guess she really liked that gravy....
