Good evening,

after a cycle with beautiful blue numbers we are having an all red day today. Last night at 03:00 am the libre alarm woke me up and showed 99. I thought it must be a compression low and got up to prepare an ear stick. After I prepared everything she was 119 on the libre and amazed to see she was 127 on the Accu Check. So this was the first good curve again after the Chloramphenicol. Yeah!!!!

Today she was red all day. A mega bounce. We'll see what happens tonight.

We have a bit warmer days now and Binie insists on lying on the terrace in her cat bed with a blanket. Seems she feels much better after we stopped the Chlorampenicol. But she is still licking a lot on her breast.

Hi Heike, Binie saw some beautiful numbers yesterday and last night. I’m sorry the alarm woke you up. Isn’t that startling when it happens overnight?
As alarming as it is, I am glad to have it so it lets you know what’s going on.
I’m sure you’re right, I’m sure she’s bouncing today as a result of that Stretch of numbers. Her body is not so accustomed to it lately. Hopefully she will come down again soon.
I’m glad she got to enjoy some time on her favorite terrace today. It’s so sweet that she likes to go under the blanket in her bed.

Also, I’m really amazed how close the Libre and your handheld meter were. Especially in the blue range. (I’ve never seen them be that close for Ivy. I wish they would be that close. That would make me much happier.)

I hope you’re both having a calm and quiet night and you can both get decent night sleep tonight. I’m sure you could use it after being woken up at 3 AM. Sending good wishes for sweet dreams to both of you

yes, I am also happy to have the alarm! It actually makes me sleep better because I know I get alarmed if it is necessary. I was also happy Libre and handheld have been close. I tested because we had a few compressions lows lately and I wanted to know, if the numbers are real. In blue numbers it is usually pretty close. Just in green numbers the handheld is usually higher.

Today I had no work in the morning and I went back to bed after the morning shot. I slept until late morning and it was really necessary. Hope you also made up some sleep!

Happy to hear that Binie is feeling a bit better. Paws crossed that whatever is bothering her in the chest will calm down quickly.

We've had bit warmer wether her too but wet as well. Prince enjoys the cool weather. It gets him very excited.

I hope that Binie will come down from her bounce quickly.

I’m so glad you could get some rest! That makes me very happy, Heike. I know how awful it makes your whole body feel when you can’t sleep. It’s such a struggle I have so I can imagine it must affect you as well.
I hope you both have a good rest tonight. You sure need it.
