+3 = 288. I'm guessing that is high enough I don't need to retest until PMPS? Unless I see unusual behavior, of course. Or intuition.
Am I right? Or need to be corrected?

It is a decent enough drop that I would consider a +6. Just to be sure

I'm wondering why his numbers are so high considering he hasn't seen any lows recently.
And a high pre-shot need not mean that he won't go low. I've had Bandit go from 300 pre-shots to sub-50! Though 472 is high! I should think he won't go below 50. I hope he isn't reading this!
ETA: Some cats go high before they break a bounce. Bandit is one such.

Okay, how about a +6 or +7? So I can get some sleep?
Maybe him going off the pred had something to do with it? Although one would expect the opposite result......

Yeah. +6 or +7 makes better sense than +2 or +3
