Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 13

Day starts with dad calling me at 5:30 am. For what I don't know.

Then I get message he has eye appt on 24th, was I going with him. I don't have that appt and never made one. Called eye doctor to find out what it's for and that we saw Dr on 9/24 with no follow up. But they said he had appt for 10/24. So call facility and they look on Dr report from 9/24, no follow up needed. I call back Dr to cancel the 10/24 appt. And now they tell me he doesn't have one. It's way to early for this.

I get up and walk into kitchen and Ollie is sitting on her rug in testing spot. She has never done that. So to please her, I test and she is fine.

Super windy here and cable is sputtering, frost advisory on for tonight.
 
Oh brother! Doesn't it want to make you go back to bed and press "reset"? Except for Ollie, being a sweetie pie! :bighug:

Ollie is bugging the crap out of me to feed her. I just texted again and she is still fine. She could be having a pokie break day. Or maybe she is just wanting attention and becoming a lap cat now. She is now making a mess of the kitchen table.

I'm going to pick up my new glasses and then go get litter.

Sounds great to me. I'm having Wegmans Apple pie I picked up today.
 
So took all my kitchen samples and stopped at floor store when out today. Wanted to make sure everything would go together with floor. Found a wall tile there. I laid all my stuff on counter, picked a few of ones I liked there. When I said I was looking for backsplash tile for kitchen with this cabinet, floor, handle, counter, all 3 employees said this one. Which I thought also. So that chore is now done. Only 1 light switch to pick up and that should be it.
 
Don't know where that came from. But she was eating all morning. Don't know if hubby put any down for others that she got into.

You are moving right along with the kitchen choices, Paula ....it’s exciting to hear about:) Let the reno begin !!!
 
Oh my...sorry to hear about your dad and that early morning phone call. My mom used to call me super early like that...a bunch of nonsense. The first time she wanted me to bring her link sausages and boiled eggs, toast, etc. She was placing her order for breakfast...I finally had to shut off my phone until a more decent hour...I just couldn't cope with crazy calls at that hour of the morning...I'd always call her back at a decent hour and ask what she wanted...and half the time it wasn't important at all...'sigh'...

Ollie is being sweet...but that's a crazy PM number. Glad to hear your kitchen selections are going smoothly...sounds like it's coming together nicely - well the decisions about that sort of stuff is...wait until they get started...and there will be plenty more...

The kitchen sounds like everything is almost all picked out. The best part is when you'll see it completed.

Half the time I have no idea what he is trying to say. Lately he is obsessed if I have my drivers license and if I have insurance because I'm driving. Oh don't even get him started that I might be out after 3 pm. I'm suppose to be home getting ready for bed because there is school in the morning.

I like your mom's better that an easy one. Sure dad I'll get your breakfast. Take a nap until it gets here.
