A decent AMPS and a quick drop to green at +2. Let's hope he slows it down. I'm going to skip today's 4pm Mirataz and start the oral mirtazapine during his morning pilling tomorrow. I'm really nervous that the dose will either be too strong or too weak based on how tiny it is and scale inaccuracies. But we will adjust based on how he does I guess.

Still mad at myself for falling asleep last night and not testing more while he was still dropping a bit. Looks like he likely leveled out and didn't go too low though.

Our first "cold front" finally came, so it is in the 60s outside and perfect! Hope everyone has a great weekend

Stay flat Xander! 💚💚💚 What is the reason you are switching from Mirataz to the pills? Just curious.
Suddenly about 2 weeks ago he started having a reaction to it thats been getting worse, with lots of irritation and flaking/scabbing skin. Very weird since he has been totally fine on it for so long

Ah, ok. Well thats no fun. The Mitazapine pills are definitely stronger. I usually dont give more than 1/8 of a 15mg tab (1.88mg) when Ive used the pills. Otherwise the side effects are just too much. Hard to cut into equal sections tho.

Yeah his dose of the mirataz is pretty small too, about 1/4 of the dosage strip on the package, so that would be about 0.5mg. I bought a pill crusher and weighed out that much of a pill, but hard to be that precise even with a milligram scale. Fingers crossed the side effects won't be too bad as he's already used to the mirataz
