Good Morning, LL,

Rusty had a good night--so good that he didn't want to get out of bed!! (He had been up an hour earlier eating his nighttime food and making contributions to his litterbox and meowing at us to get up; I guess that he decided that if we wouldn't get up for him at 5:15 A.M. he wasn't going to get up for us at 6:15!). It's another dark, damp, too-warm day. Lots of paperwork to do today.

I love this WCR, so so indicative of how our kitties think.... I can so see that happening here. Somehow it made me remember BJ and the kitty choir that she got started every morning. :lol: I am glad Rusty that you enjoyed your btb. All three of the kitties here are on board with you in that one.

Hi again,
It turned out to be a very different day than planned. We had to go down to Camp on the spur of the moment to see the well we just had drilled. It's going to be great. The hook-up and electrical work will be done next week. And next summer we won't have to pump water out of the lake for washing and we won't have to haul in our drinking water. It will be so much easier to prepare Rusty's food (ours, too!). We are thrilled about the whole thing.

Rusty held the fort all afternoon. We rushed out so we could do the 70-mile drive in time to meet the driller and Rusty howled. I felt so bad for him, because he was expecting a combing. But he's happy now sitting on the couch with his beans, eating his dinner.
