Rupert BEBT as usual this morning. Nice bit of a slide last night, hopefully he hit a few blues as well?

Rough night for us, Hubby's mom returned to hospital at 2:30am, she had been in yesterday, released home and then went downhill again with massive fever. finally figured out that she probably has massive kidney infection. Stu was driving his dad back and forth last night (since mom went in the ambulance). She's 82.... all a bit scarey.

Hope everyone has a good day today in LL.

Hi guys .. yay for a nice slide last night .. hoping for the same today .. So sorry to hear about your DMIL .. I sure hope they can get her infection taken care of .. it is always scary when it's an elderly person in the hospital .. I'll keep you in my prayers ...

so. not much action this morning, possibly just meter variance... or maybe just a very nice gentle slide downhill....course he could just be slowly gathering momentum! Or, he's being thoughtful knowing we had a long night and doesn't want me worrying during the day! He looks fine, is back in the 'primo' spot on the couch now that the rains have returned and is purring smugly watching birds out the window. I'm off to work, hubby just left to go pick up his dad and retrieve his mom from the hospital, they've released her.. again... got the fever down, IV antibiotics... has to go back again at the end of today for more AB, not sure why they don't just keep her in, sigh. Hopefully she won't have a reaction to the AB (she tends to be allergic to all sorts of things).

Dear Pip......I'm sorry your MIL is so sick. I will add her to my prayers tonight.

You can't say Rupert isn't flat, :roll: even if the color ain't so pretty. Hope he comes down for you tomorrow.

well, another swoop into the blue for this evening, I hope he pulls up soon, not sure how late I'll be able to stay awake tonight!

Mother in law is doing a lot better, she is home, phoned us and was insisting that she'd drive herself in tomorrow morning for her IV antibiotics.. hubby read her the riot act and will be taking her in of course.. but she's obviously feeling a lot better.

Looks like Rupert is planning to keep you up tonight. I'm hoping Neko will follow, but maybe at a more sedate pace.

Good to hear your DMIL is feeling better and that DH is driving her in tomorrow. She might feel tired afterwards.

yup Wendy! Rupie is surfing thru the blue zone pretty fast... slowed slightly, but I'll be up at least another hour to get an idea of where he is heading. He's on the back of the couch preening at the moment and I'm trying to stay awake and catching up on all my pvr'd stuff (thank god for the PVR, sure makes these later nights easier!).
 
yay, slowing down a bit now. still, a pretty quick dive as usual, so I will be expecting a big fat red number tomorrow morning!

Thanks sooooo much for your visit to our condo this afternoon, your story about looking for Rupie made me feel so much better!! And I`m definitely going to look for those enzymes, they sound promising :razz:
