You know, she had a nice sort of predictable pattern going. Higher at am+3 and then a safe, slow descent to pmps. 'Til yesterday when I planned to leave at +4 for a day of mountain adventure. Stinker. Held off on leaving until I was pretty sure she was upward bound at am+6.

Great time on the mountain. And the best part. I looked at my watch at 4:30 p.m. and didn't feel anxious about not being home at my normal evening pmps routine time. So relaxing. Freedom! Our picnic, splash spot:

Not really any swimming for the dogs, but they enjoying splashing and snooping and stealing bits of the picnic goodies.

Any lurking guilt is fading today with Polly's return to green this during the am cycle today. Of course, this is Polly, so who knows where she'll be later today. Always surprises me.

I just love seeing Polly in green. I suspect I'm not the only one - except when you have something planned. Nice balance there, Polly - let the bean know who's boss, then give her the pass she wanted to go out. Very fair of you.
