Yesterday - high green surfing in AM, bounce to pink in PM

Papaya did a bit of a bounce from the greens yesterday morning so the PM cycle was high, but she's cleared it and was down to 125 before I left for work this morning.

She is hilariously polite about asking to go to the litter early in the AM when she feels the need to go spend some time working on a big prezzie. I don't know why she doesn't just get off the bed by herself, but she pats my arm like a little kid trying to get your attention. So after just barely going back to sleep after her shot at 4:30, she woke me at 5:00 by batting at my arm (claws in, happily) so I could carry her out to the litter box. After she was done she came back into my room by herself and wanted a lift back up.

Last night she was doing her impression of a paper shredder - I (oops) left a few pages of computer paper from a pattern I was knitting sitting near her on the couch. She tore into them with enthusiasm, ripping with claws and teeth until they were sufficiently shredded for her liking. Then she just sat there in the middle of them with eyes half closed looking quite pleased with her work

I hope Papaya gives you a nice surf today and doesn't bounce back up. How funny on the lb and the paper shredding.

Good job coming down from that bounce, Papaya! Love her LB etiquette - and the paper shredding! Hope Papaya keeps up the good run today!

Thanks Carla and Suzanne, and those that stopped by yesterday that I didn't get back to (called it a night early due to bounce!).

When I came in after work, Papaya was sitting by her now-clean-plate, looking slightly like she had swallowed the proverbial canary. I think she had JUST eaten the food I left out. When I tested and got a 52, well, no wonder she didn't wait for me to come home! With Papaya I have no idea whether she has pushed the up or the down button on the BG express elevator, so there's no knowing which way tonight will go . . . but at least she's had a good day, apparently.

That is quite the PMPS for sure! Surf it safe, Papaya! I love how she needs a MamaBean escort to the LB, and what kitty doesn't love a good knitting pattern to shred?

Have a great evening, Amy!!!

Wow, Papaya really knows how to clear a bounce! Rusty needs some instruction!
I love the litterbox routine. When Rusty is outside he wants to come in to use his litterbox. Go figure!

Have a fine evening. Surf safe, Papaya!

Re: 10/17 Papaya AMPS=305 +4=125 PMPS=52

Hello Amy and Ella! She came out looking for the +1.5 meal, so I gave her some MC and waited to test until +2.5 . . . got a 58 so I guess this is NOT the start of a bounce, more like a late night I guess! I gave her a little HC after the 58 because when she decides to go low sometimes she's really on a mission.

Ella - my great-uncle had a cat who he kept on a leash in the yard, afraid it would run away since it used to live on the farm. It would always want to come in to use the litter, too! So civilized of them

Good shooting tonight Amy! Paws crossed for a nice flat green surf.

It's cute that she thinks you want to know when she's using the litter box.

Thanks Wendy! So far so good . . . I don't get any BOS points for shooting a 52, though, because I assumed it was probably just going to head UP as it has been doing recently from green PS

Hi Amy!
 for today's PMPS!!!

It's so cute how Papaya wants to do her #2.
So funny about paper shredding.
I think she was trying to show you that she too can be crafty!
