Yesterday was Neko's first green in too long. Unfortunately the bean had to abort it because she had to go out for a couple of hours and Neko's nadir tends to wander so it's a guessing game of when it's safe to go out if I don't see rising numbers.

This AMPS isn't bad for Neko although I know she can do better. It's a cloudy but dry day so far. There have been a couple of yard patrols, each post meal time. They weren't very long and minimal number of fir needles brought in the house! :-D I hope to get out and do a bit of raking, especially the cedar bits that came down in the wind on the weekend. It's supposed to drizzle this evening. It's amazing how many different words for rain the forecasters have around here. :lol: I'd like to get out for a walk, but I'm waiting for the phone guy to show up so am sticking around home for now.

quite the windstorm we had huh?! we have cedar boughs, and needles everywhere at our place! Thankfully Rupert is very pristine and fastidious about his fur so he doesn't bring them in,.. not so for Oliver Dyson cat, he's long haired, super fluffy and a piglet! leaves and debris all over the house! doh!

seems like Neko and Rupert are happily hanging out on the pink floor today. I can only assume resting up for the next diving show!

That's a whole lot of pink today. Yuck. Here's hoping she's got another colour in mind tonight. She spent a lot of time outside this afternoon, "helping" me with the raking. I found a dead bird on the lawn, but I don't think she was the cause.

@Pip - maybe Rupert and Neko will head down later tonight. Flat is so unlike them! Maybe the needles are a long haired thing - Neko does seem to attract twigs and debris.

@Carla - I too am hoping for more greens soon. Maybe tonight?

Ugh on the stinky pinky numbers, though the pink paddy paws are pretty cute. Come on back to the lagoon Neko, Zener's holding your spot. ;-)

Hope the next test is a little more interesting. Last night she was at 267 at this point, but then stalled out.

@Rhiannon - I LOVE the pinky nail caps pic. No way Neko would let me do that, I just trim her nails, but it does look cute. At least she's moved down one floor so far.

@Lisa - baby steps, Neko is starting with yellow and at a decent rate so we'll see what the night brings - beside sleep/testing that is.

@Anne - Thanks to Z man for holding a spot. I hope she finds her way down there.

OT - Do people *really* paint their pets nails?? That's insane! :shock: (What is the cats nibble at their claws and swallow some?)

Better and she might still go lower later, but I think I'll call it a night.

@Jane - it isn't paint on the nails but a cat scratching prevention device. They are called nail caps or soft paws - check out the colours. You might like the glitter ones! I've only ever known one person who used them.
