well.... what to say about yesterday: nice morning! awful evening! and all I can think of is that he went low enough while I was gone hiking yesterday that he ended up in the stratosphere by evening. And this morning? one point short of that ugly floor. :YMSIGH: I just don't get what is going on with Mr. Consistency... we are back to the days of good numbers followed by a couple of days of not so nice stuff. Mannie, dude, what's up huh? I am not too sure that what you really need is more juice. Maybe you do? hat +2 says yes, you do... Lubs ya big guy, but let's find the lower floors today, OK? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Thank goodness for the kitty choir! Full bellows this AM :shock: - which was a good thing... this bean was tired! All three of them were singing this morning: the "I'm starving blues" :roll: , followed by a soulful rendition of "what's taking you so long" :roll: .... so we got the troops fed, watched those pitiful eyes turn into happy eyes, and dodged a whack-a-thon between the girls. All over who got to eat first. Sheshhhh... the bowls hit the floor a the same time. silly girls! :lol: :lol: We had a good test feed shoot. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean late club status maintained. And he used the auto feeder for mini meal #1 - YAY!! To days in a row! :o :o :cool: Yes - there is hope!!! Napping is now in progress. Too dark out for much of anything else. :lol: :lol: Total normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I have a lunch day with a friend, not too much else on today's agenda... perhaps some more catching up on things I didn't do yesterday while I went hiking with my son.

Hey everybody!! It was such fun yesterday at Willie's!!! He has so many leaves! We had piles everywhere!!! WOOT! We lost Tess in the pile a couple of times - Rusty had to dive in and save her. What'd'ya guys wanna do today? Should we do some hang gliding? or maybe go to the beach? Maybe just a pool day somewhere? Who's got sun? See you ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and Mannie! Not sure you look so nice in the pinks and reds Mannie boy....I think you would look much more handsome in the blue and green tones.....what do YOU think?

I just love your pictures Michelle...I can almost feel the clean fresh air filling my lungs...Oh I love that about the beautiful northwest!

It looks like Mannie's been hiking with you up those mountains! Come on buddy - back to steady eddy....it makes living our lives so much easier!

Hi Michelle, looks like a terrific hike yesterday.
I certainly do share your frustration with the high numbers. Could it be coincidence that Mannie's began after the dental? (as I recall, Mannie didn't have to have any extractions and only had his teeth cleaned). Maybe it's a lingering effect from the anesthesia? Anyway, I hope he'll come down for you starting today. Interesting discussion in Rusty's condo yesterday about Wellness. I wonder if they changed the formula? I did notice that in the Turkey formula, the cans used to say "turkey broth" and now they say "chicken broth". Everything else in the list of ingredients is the same. When we're in NYC next week I'm going to look at some of the foods in the upscale pet shops and spend some time reading labels (not that there's nothing else to do there!!!).

Morning Michelle: love the pitiful eyes to happy eyes :lol: :lol: So if you can't get a video, you must at least get an audio because I think it must be quite something...the cacophony of three starving kitties!!! YAY..whackathon back!!

Mannie....you had enough rest yesterday....time to come back down and get off those upper floors...but do it nicely!!

Mannie....we could go see Teddy again with more KTSS and then everyone can come here for pool sunning!!! It will be warm, beans are home (they are going FUD shopping), catnip is still growing like crazy so we can nap in the catnip patch. I think I'll make some Screaming Lizard Margaritatinis!!!

Hi Pat - I think Mannie agrees with you. He hears my sighs. :lol: so I hope that his +4 means that he is exiting the upper floors. paws crossed! Hopefully he will be a good boy today - ah I think so. :-D

Hi Ella - thanks: it was indeed a great hike - nice lakes, great all color. :-D yep - hear you on the high numbers. He had been so consistent, until his dental. He just has not been able to settle into his dose since then. Not too sure why. maybe it is a lingering effect? I know it does take him so long to settle into a dose, and with his dental we went through a couple of different ones, trying to avoid issues that we had on the prior one. What a mess.... so we shall see... maybe i need to up the dose, but I just don't want all the 40's we had on the dose before this one. well, guess we shall see, And yes on the wellness discussion - I read that yesterday. I just don't know for sure that that is a factor for Mannie - he's been on wellness for long before that. have they changed their formula? It seemed to be a factor in his obtaining the consistency he had, before the dental. I just don't know.... Good luck with the label reading - I will have to check your condo faithfully to see what you find out...

I think that perhaps the kitties need to take Mannie on a tropical vacation, where the blue/green waters of the Caribbean can serve as inspiration. Of course, with the dreary day we have hear today (though welcome, as it is bringing much needed rain), I think maybe I could use come caribbean inspiration as well?!? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hope Mannie comes back down from higher elevations soon!

Hi Michelle, sorry so late. In between Vetty visit and my Internet Explorer 9 not working and freezing up, it has been frustrating to stay online. It won't allow me to click on links. The help line had me install google Chrome. Thanks for your feedback in my condo on the low number and feeding.
Now Mannie, what is going on today? There may be more juice if you don't read your condo and come down. Did you hear that rumor? I hope he comes down, Michelle. No rhyme or reason sometimes. My vet said this morning that all cats are strange. :lol: He said it in a humorous way though, not negative. It was one of those times where you have to be there! Those are beautiful pictures of the mountain hike and lake and beautiful Fall colors. I miss the Fall season with all the colors. Glad to hear all is well there with the civvies and can't wait for DGS and Mannie stories come Wednesday.

Mannie, so sorry I missed the fun today. My Bean took me to the Vetty and then she complained about her computer and didn't even get the problem solved. Tommorow is another day. See ya soon, Maggie

Guess Mannie is spending some time in the sub-PentHouse. Tell him the lower floors are more exciting. Maybe he will decide to stop these silly antics and settle back down to blue and green surfing. Have a good night. Bet you miss the little guy.

Hi Barbara - yep - that he is! I hope he soon realizes that the lower floors are much better! :lol: :-D and yes - miss the little guy - he is always so much fun.

H Ann - oh wow and bummer on your explorer 9. aiyee - and frustrating I am sure. I hope that you got it fixed, what a bummer if not... Oh yes on Mannie - no rhyme or reason! He did come down some for his +4, so maybe he'll find those blues again. I like your vets comment - it is true! no figuring out a cat for sure! thanks on the photos - it was such a pretty day there in the mountains - we had such a good time. and me too on DGS.

Hey Maggie - it is OK. I knew you had to go to the vetty! The KTSS can still come if you need tog get rid of that vetty smell... we are still making rounds. So heck - we will come anyways! A late night get together at Maggie's! See you soon~~ Mannie
