10/17 loose lips

Hi everyone!

I just got back from a weekend at Niagara Falls .. it was extremely cold, wet and windy but still had a wonderful time with peter and my parents, my sister and her daughter .. We are already looking for a weekend to go back next year ..

Mocha and twix did fine while we were away, my brother came and fed them and since they did so well, they were reward with new catnip toys

I have a ton of errands to run today so since I won't be able to get to everyone's condo, just wanted to send out healing thoughts and prayers to those kitties and beanz who need them ..

How absolutely wonderful that you all got away and had a great time. The Falls are absolutely gorgeous...did you go into Canada and eat at that restaurant on the spire that revolves? It has amazing views of the falls. Can you imagine going over those in a barrel :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Glad the girls did so well and I HOPE Mocha got her beauties while you were gone!

niagara falls must be the destination of 2011 - i know 2 other people who've been there recently. such a beautiful spot! i haven't been since i was a little kid, but i do remember it.

glad you had fun with the family. we'll excuse you from visiting all 30 condos just for today. we expect you back tomorrow! :lol: seriously, you are such an angel to come visit so many of us. i sure appreciate you! i try to visit a bunch but i think 15 or so a day is the most i can manage. it just takes a long time to read everyone's stories.

i'm headed up on the roof again today - spent 3 hours up there yesterday scraping off moss with a screwdriver blade. i don't mind doing it, but ohmygosh i'm sore today from the weird positions trying not to fall off the roof and sitting on the shingles. one section of our roof is over a 30' drop to the ground and i stay away from that section. makes me nervous. my son did it. we have a daylight basement ranch, and most of it is either over a deck or over the front yard, which is probably 8'. in any case, no leaping/falling off the roof for me!

if i spend enough more hours doing this i may be persuaded of the "beauty" of a metal roof. we have to replace this one before long, but i'm hoping it can make it 2 more years til the youngest is out of college.
