I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was the best! Me and William and Nicholas had the best of times We got the break in the weather we needed, it was predicted to be sunny with blues skies, perfect fall weather, so we had to take advantage of that. Off we went! We didn't qwuite get those sunny skies, but no matter! We had a great time, visiting yet another river, one we hadn't been to in a while. Nicholas got to rediscover it all over again. Ducks, it seems, rule there too! We also swam yesterday, an evening swim time, as I didn't have anyone for William during the day. It proved to work out well. Here's what I wrote in yesterday's condo: "HI everyone! I hoe your day has been a good one. ours was GREAT, LING, but great,. Here is is 8/9 PM and I am finally home.... This was one of the first PM swim slots we have done. Nicholas LOVED it,was his old energizer fish for the amount of time that we were there. I had to cut him short, as it was close to 7PM, and I still had to get him home. Nt too bad when one considers that he spent the day on a river, walked over 3 miles, had a very busy day. He never ceases to amaze me. Just goes and goes and goes. Pool time was great for him - there were several boys there that he played with. Most were much older, but didn't seem to mind that he wanted to tag along. They spent alot of time on the slides, going as fast as they could, aiming for that big splash at the end.  Nicholas did well trying to keep up with them. It was a fun evening. The river today was nice too,. We never really did get the sun that was promised, well, we did, but not until 5PM. It was cool on the river, but none of us seemed to mind. We chased ducks, fed suck, threw really BIG sticks in the river, chased more duck and tossed rock after rock. William did well too. It is interesting how awake he is for most of this stuff. He watched everything, wide eyed and all. That is fun to see. We are lunch on the river, William too. How nice that he doesn't seem to mind having his lunch, aka his bottle, out in the cool air. It was like he'd been at it a long time. Looks like I have two river rats on my hands! SWEET!" Picassa links: Sammamish River Park and Swimming!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... As tired as I am after a very long but good day yesterday I am grateful and reflective on how nice these mornings are. Lola is camped out on my lap as I type this condo. This continues to be one of my favorite times with her. She seems so small, so angelic, so innocent - just purrs and purrs and purrs... Sure beats the turkey wrapper episode of the day before... I know I have said it before, but there is a large part of me that really hopes she stays the mischievous cutie that she is. It is never a dull moment around here with her. Bug continues to sleep in the bed at night. That is SO NICE, and I'm glad to find him there in the middle of the night. He curls up on my feet, and I find that rather nice. Elsa has my pillow, Bug has my feet. Lola still has not slept in the bed. That is probably a good thing, ;-) Who needs marathon kitty runs across your bed? She still sleep sin her favorite rocker upstairs that she likes, and that is usually where I find her in the wee hours of the morning when I get up. Life is good. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, again, as Nicholas asked for one yesterday. Sheshhhh - kid LOVES the rivers! He has such fun there that it is no surprise he asks to go back the next day. We may return the Skykomish River or the Beckler River, as they seem to be his favorite. Ah heck! They are ALL his favorites! I will see how weather and temp patterns develop and then pick a spot. Who knows - Nicholas may have already decided where we are going! ;-) The weather yesterday was said to be good for today, cool but with sun, so I hope we can make the trip. :-D I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

I love how William is taking it all in...what till that kid is mobile!!

Yes, morning rituals are among with sweetest with our kitties. My Frankie is still quite mischievous (she's 10 now), and even though it's exhausting when she rattles the door in the middle of the night, her sense of fun and adventure is inspiring. I'm sure Lola will be the same way...always looking for something new and exciting.

Have a great day, Michelle!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) William is proving to be very much like Nicholas: just takes it all in, watches, absorbs... he will be fun when he is more mobile. :-D  I like your Frankie. I suspect that will be Lola when she is 10, still the little mischievous kitty that she is. it seems to be her nature. I rally do enjoy it, first time I ave had a kitty that is like this. I liek eh fun, the adventure, and yupp! It is inspiring. THX on today - it should be great! we should have good weather too: paws crossed!

Good Morning Michelle!
You are making such great memories for the boys ♥
So sweet of Lola to lay with you. None of my kitties are lap cats. I miss not having a cat on my lap. But they do sleep with us and I very much enjoy that!
Have another great day with the boys!

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

Want to chillax at my condo today. I asked Rusty if he wanted to come and we can play pirates and make him walk the plank or even more fun CATapult him off the yacht!

Let's brings lots of pizzas, collect all the kitties in the jet and have a nice chillaxing day at my place!

Hurry and finish your deliveries, I'll make the calls and let's go.

Signed Maui the Magnificent

HI Michelle,
That is a beautiful river park on the Sammamish! What fun for Nicholas and William. Yesterday was another non-stop day for your and the boys. The swim pics are neat. Nicholas is swimming so well and certainly holding his own with the "big kids".

Kitties are each settling into their winter grooves. Lola really is amazing. and it is great that Elsa and Bug are the guardians of your sleep.

Enjoy today's river adventure!

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, thanks for that great "wake-up" coffee!!

It looks like the boys enjoyed yesterday's adventure. I hope today was a good one too. Maybe some day Lola will decide to sleep on the bed too.

Hi Michelle,

Another fun day! Love the pics of Nicholas and William (he is showing such adorable expressions!) :-D The quiet times with our kitties are special - when you have more than one, you appreciate the one on one time with each. Thanks so much for letting us share your beautiful part of the country and take a peak in your life!

Jane

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Our weather has been rather nice. Fog per the norm, burned off by the time we hit the road today. It was really nice over by Index and Gold Bar - sunny skies, and not too cold either. I so love these sunny fall days. We went on a road trip today - to the Skykomish River, two separate destinations. It was a very nice trip over there today. Nicholas picked what he wanted, though I think any river would have done today. He did want to see the fish, so Index it was, as that is the spot that I know where he can get up real close, be in the river with the fish. There are still a few running there, most were already dead on the banks. Loved the aroma - . Funny - he was just as fascinated by eh dead ones as the live ones. He was able to watch one Chinook make an impressive run through the area we were in. Nice time there - sunny skies, and warm enough. We headed on down to the Big Eddy spot by Gold Bar after lunch #1, as that spot is a good spot for him. Lots to do, sand, wade-able water, trains, rocks and sticks, etc etc etc. Like last week we could have sent the afternoon there. This spot too had there share of expired fish. He got very good at finding the ones buried in the sand, with only a fin, or head or whatever sticking out. fun! William did well. He was a little fussy at Index, but attributable to being late with his lunch. ;-) It was nice to be able to unpack him at Big Eddy, let him be it the sand for a bit, partake in lunch #2. :-D Good times for both boys. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Thanks everyone for the visits today. I was home mega late again, and doubt I will be able to return the favor. Sorry (!!) I keep missing so many of you.
Hi Pam - THX! I sure hope so on the memories. Nicholas remembers alot of these places now, so that is cool. THX too on Lola - She is the first in a long time to do that. I have missed it too.
Hi Ella - The park is nice! Good for kids, makes for a great bike route too. oh yes on the non-stop. SO BUSY and I was really wiped by days end, but it was fun. THX too on Nicholas: loves the pool, and it shows. THX on the kitties - all so true. River was great!!
Auntie Ella - You gots it! see you tomorrow, bright and early! Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista
Hi Angela - THx, me too on the boys. They are fun kids. :-D LOL on the kitties - never a dull moment.
Hi Carla - They did! it was great fun - a local park and river place. Today was really good! One of Nicholas's fav places to go. I so hope on Lola! :-D
Hi Jane - If was! THX on the pics, and I so agree on William. True on the kitties too, I so appreciate each one of them. Hey - you are welcome on the rest!

Maui! GF! YUPP! Chillaxin' is way cool Count me in! Heeheehee on the pirates and the plank. I want the CATapult! :-D PIZZAS fir sure - Lola and Bug are on top of it. On our way! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

You have a lot of nice river parks near you. And so many flowers still in bloom. Nicholas does seem to be enthralled with the rivers and I think William is learning that too. :-D :-D :-D We are seeing a lot more fog around today too. It was creeping in on cat's feet any where near the water.

Scritches to the fur gang from me. Is tomorrow the last of the full weeks with the boys?

Hi Wendy - THX, I think we do too. The rivers run through so many places, and the towns and/or communities that they are near have taken the time to make decent parks out of the areas. Alot of them have bike roads there too. very nice. The one yesterday has made that an educational garden, so there is always something blooming. Nicholas loves that area - so it was good he could go back and see it again. YES (!) on the rivers - he rally does, and you are right. it seems that William is following suit. YEs too on tomorrow being the last of the five days a week with the boys. There is apart of me that is glad. it is alot of work. love them to pieces, but this granny is tried.    Scritches will be dispensed!
