Tried for a ketone test this morning, thought we had enough blood, but the meter read error. Jack was done with me at that point so maybe later today we can try again. His numbers are ok, his eating habits are as crazy as ever. We had a nice, pate only stint for a while, but last night he insisted on prime filets and this morning is a little bit of everything. He does like the Ziwi venison, but never eats enough to make a full meal. Which has its pros and cons since it's soooo expensive, but it really doesn't make his numbers move all that much either. I guess this is just one adventure Jack is in charge of.
There won't be many tests today, Jack's sister Dusty is going to the hospital for I-131 radiation and that is almost a 2 hour drive one way, plus I have to stop at the office on the way home. Considering Jack wanted to have a buffet for breakfast, I'm not worried he'll go too low...I'm just hoping he doesn't go too high. It's always one extreme or another with him, but at least his bounces seem to last fewer days and his averages are slllooowwwly coming down. We'll take the happy where we can get it, I guess.
