Last Night:
520 PMPS
489 +1
237 +8.5

I hate to give him a dose increase right smack in the middle of the work week, but it looks like that's what I'm going to have to do. He ate okay last night. I feel a cold or something coming on, and slept most of the night, so I left out most of the leftover food from the afternoon and all plates were shiney by +8.5 when I woke up to check on him.

We went for a short walk this morning, and I fed the cats. Ginger still hasn't touched her food. Maybe she's the one who ate all the food last night. J.D. ate his 1st Breffis with a little encouragement. He gave himself a bath and is currently laying in his bed.

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hate to have to do that during the week too. I hope you don't get sick. Sending prayers & healing vines.

Hope you all have a good day today....Hope you are not coming down with anything though.... (((Dyana)))

I usually take Echinacea at the first sign of something coming on....4 capsules and extra vitamen C ...may not work for some people, but it always works for DH and myself...we swear by it. If we catch it at the first sign of not feeling quite "right"....hope it's nothing Dyana....

Mid-week dose changes are annoying. Totally agree with you on that one! Hang in there.

For the cold:
I second the echinacea and orange juice, and I'll add one more tip that always works for us. Put hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip and clean out the insides of your ears and nose (if it's not soar or red yet). This disinfects at the source. I do this a few times a day if a cold is coming on, plus the echinacea, plus the OJ. PLUS, few more things:
- SLEEP (Never underestimate how much this will help you boost your immune system). Your body can fight things easiest when it's at rest.
- Avoid anything with sugar (sugar can stress the immune system so you want to avoid it when you're feeling like you're coming down with something).
- Eat garlic.
- Lastly, if you get a cold anyway, go for spicy food and a hot bath. Clears the head and helps a ton.

Get better and hope J.D. is hanging in there,
Jill

I chickened out on the dose increase for tonight. Maybe, tomorrow night.
I got home late from work at +12.25 and then wasted probably 6 units trying to get one 0.5 unit without bubbles.
We went for a short walk, and J.D. ate a little afterwards. I want him to eat more.
He seems happy. I got home to them both on the bed, which often happens these days, and Ginger didn't want to get up, but J.D. came happily to me to get his test and whatnot. I need to cut up all this steak and freeze it tonight, so I'm sure he'll be even happier very soon, when he's at my feet in the kitchen.

Oh don't worry about the dose tonight. Concentrate on yourself and get some sleep.

Nothing like having a kitteh underfoot in the kitchen when there's MEAT to be had!

Feel better -
