Wow...what a day we had yesterday. We are both feeling the exhaustion. I learned in practice what Sienne meant when she said there would come a time when it would be really hard to keep her above 50...now I can say "been there, done that" :lol: :lol: Now I am looking forward to what she means by a time will come when I can go to bed comfortably when Grace is at 70. Thanks to ALL of you for help and moral support yesterday...especially the late night crew (Sienne, Michelle, Ann, Kathy, Anne). Thanks, Pat, for checking in on yesterday's condo this morning.

WCR: Tired baby but all 5Ps in place. She was such a trooper with all those pokeys yesterday..never growled or got upset. I would love to see some surfing in really LOW blue or high green today to give her a break but keep her in the healing range.

Now...time for massive amounts of ~O) ~O) ~O) I did the 7:30 AMPS, feed, shoot and went btb until the 8:30 feed...told DH last night I needed more rest. But he was too anxious about her numbers last night (he's on East Coast) and this morning and woke me up at 8 :shock: :shock: Poor guy. Will check in on your babies after ~O) ~O) and breffis.

LOL, Marjorie. Did you go through a whole bottle of test strips yesterday? :lol: Oh, those poor ears. I hope Gracie will surf today and rest up those ears.

You did so well yesterday Marjorie, you deserve a pat on the back. Gracie too. I hope you get another nice surf today, but in slightly higher numbers so you BOTH can have a break and a nice relaxing day.

What a wonderful job you are doing Marjorie...I hope that you and Gracie have a great day today too. yesterday...wow...well, it was so exciting, right? Look at how great your little girl is doing and YOU...well, YOU are taking control and dealing with these things so well. You get A++ for yesterday yourself!! :mrgreen:

TOO FUNNY!!! I think my record on test strips used in one day was 37...omg! so I can relate to your recap that looks like laundry list. :lol: :lol: You guys did so well yesterday - a pro you are rapidly becoming.

I think it is so wonderful that your DH called to see how she was doing. NICE!, and way to go DH. And yes the day will come soon when you can go to bed with a 70... yes - soon!

enjoy that ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) and the fact that Gracie is at a high yellow, and you can relax for a bit. NICE JOB yesterday!!!!

Marjorie you and Gracie deserve the badge of honor today for what you have done the last couple of days. The reward that Powder is bestowing is R & R with numbers that don't need constant "ear pokeys". I so did not want to get up today and had the same idea as you but then the dogs had their own agenda and that was that :lol:

Thanks for checking in last night and your comments were great. It helps to know that Gracie is doing all this with scruff shots very reassuring indeed :-D I reposted the questions from yesterday so we can see what others think.
I need to get outside and do yard work and try to make some head way on my deck that I started sanding about a month ago :roll: :roll: I can only hope Powder doesn't have other ideas.

I'm not sure that Grace should go to the Fish Market for a while she just got too excited :mrgreen: Will check in later.

Marjorie, great work yesterday! that BTB was well deserved, so sweet of DH to be concerned, but he needs to think about time zones when he's traveling. You are lucky to have him!

Wow Gracie you're catching on quick! Did you and Muffin eat that whole big fish yesterday? :shock: My turn today, but I'm not going THAT low! -- Tess

Already clearing the bounce I see - such a good little girl! Marjorie - thanks for checking on us - I'm glad you like the BD syringes, I'm loving them too. Nice flat thin plunger, and hardly any air bubble issues! A drop is actually easier to measure than you might think. On the BD syringes I just take it almost to the bottom of the zero line and check once or twice, of course, to be sure I have what I want in there. :lol: Glad your girl is going easy on you today, but still heading the right direction.

Thanks everyone for stopping in and for your wonderful posts that make me feel so good and raise my confidence!! I'm so happy to see Gracie rockin' it today. I thought at +2 that she was gonna bounce a while but she is doing really great. I sorta think her nadir has perhaps moved to 6 or 7...we'll see shortly.

Ele..let's see....not quite a bottle of strips but close :lol: :lol: Thankfully, I ordered 200 from Hocks and just got them on Thurs; however...they have mysteriously disappeared :twisted: :twisted: . At PMPS last night, I realized I only had 50 of the ultra fine pokeys so ran up to the pharm and bought another box!

Pat and Tena: THANK YOU...were/are you both teachers :lol: :lol: I've always been an overachiever :roll: so love the A++'s!!

Michelle...ok...didn't break your record of 37 strips in a day!! Thanks also for the kudos..

Ann...my DH loves these cats soooo much...I know he hates being away from home for 3-4 days every week.

Kathy...what a nice green day for everyone!! Hope you figure out the scruff thing AND get your deck done!!

Anne...thanks, friend..I know you are always around. Yes...love the BDs...I'll have to study that "drop" technology!!

And look at your pretty SS with all the colored boxes!!! I like it when the white is filled in....especially with blues and greens. Good for you both today...look at that nice blue surf! Wee!!

Thanks, Pat....and you should have been..you're great at it...always asking me if I understand and that's important.

I didn't intend to do so much testing if her numbers were in the blue but I felt her nadir had shifted and so it gives me a chance to see where it's headed when I'm not steering her and I'm just giving her the AMPS/PMPS, +1, +2, +3 +8 snacks. I'm very happy with this today for her!!

It's very exciting!!! Now I'm coming up on a +11 so let's see what happens....I would love to see her just continue this tonight ...she needs to learn some lessons from Muffins and Achilles!

Well...I'm going to try and be optimistic...she was high at AMPS and had a lovely blue surf so GO GRACIE...more BLUE!!

Anne..yes, I got tons done today even with the hourly testing. AND I got in an hour long nap dancing_cat dancing_cat

Time for din din...will check in later...not much testing tonight!!
