hi everyone
I started Robins sliding scal last night...unfortunately it began with a fur shot......
but he still had a 261 amps...so I shot 3.1 (should have shot 3 according to scale)
but I gave him a little extra umph cause of last night.
well he stayed the same almost all day....
Saturday kinda looked like an inverse curve...could be wrong but if anyone want to take a peek
that would be great
Thanks and have a great night (yes it is only 7:30 and I am turning in for the night!)
talk to you all later

Does look flat. I would give it more time. But remember, some kitties aren't going to do as well with a sliding scale. Some need the settling time. You should know in a few cycles.

Today didn't look all that much different than yesterday. The curve doesn't really look inverse.

Like I said before, Shakes may not be a good candidate for a sliding scale but it is worth a shot. The scale was very generic so we may have to do alot of tweeking to it.

Hang in there.

You got good results from a furshot, so I think most of it went in. Shakes wasn't really high this AM. Curve doesn't look inverse, just sort of flat.
I'm thinking that like Cassie and his recent reduction, you will have to let this scale have a couple of days before you start to see noticeable results. I'd stick with it and see what happens, and like Robin said, it may need tweaking after a few cycles. Once you see numbers that require different doses (like you said, the AM should have been 3.0, and tonight was 3.0 too), I think you'll have a better idea about the benefits of the sliding scale.
