I think Ravan is looking spectacular!

And yes, we have a very nasty day going on out there today. I was going to stop at the store after the dentist office...decided I didn't want to get out of the car again in the rain...ugh...

Have a nice day JoyBee! Stay inside and snuggle with the kitties :)

Good day JoyBee - I'm lucky with 60s today - about to go back outside; just too nice to miss.
I hope Ravan can keep doing well on this dose - he has a nice run, even if he's crept up a tiny bit.
Try for extra snuggles today:) weather sounds yucky. It's mild and 60s here.

Ravan slept all day & didn't even come upstairs today. This thing with his BG slowing climbing started back in August. Both times he had blood work & got checked out the Vet said he couldn't find anything wrong. Between Peggy Sue & Ravan I feel so confused & depressed.
Doesn't seem to be anything I can do to help them. I increased his insulin. I do not want to wait till it goes over 300 like it did before.

My son brought back his cat from California. He has to fly back & drive his car home. Now I need to go there every day to feed his cat & make sure she's OK. I am overwhelmed and so very worn out.

Im so glad your son successfully got his cat home,
He followed everyone's advice. Got the Sherpa carrier, used feliway . Took her for car rides as much as he could before they left but he still had an awful time with her. He said she cried the entire time & struggled to get out of her carrier . She got so upset she vomited & pooped in the carrier.

Now, at his home she is hiding & hissing at the kitten his girlfriend has. Poor baby is so freaked out!
She was good with me. I sat on the floor & talked to her & she climbed in my lap purring. I'm sure she'll calm down but I feel sorry for her being so traumatized.

She was a barn cat & pretty much wild when Jason first got her. She's very attached to him. Now he'll be gone for 10 days till he drives back here. So much has happened to her in the last few months. I wish I could bring her here to my house but my Kitties don't need any more stress either.

Oh my gosh Joy, you certainly have your hands full until Jason gets back. Poor kitty, at least she has you there to check on her and be a calming influence. Hopefully she'll soon realize she's safe and cared for and forget about the nasty car ride and maybe not mind the kitten so much.
Looks like that tiny dosecrease worked for Ravan, I hope he evens out back to low dark greens soon. You must be exhausted with all this going on.

What a sin. Well she is home now so hopefully she settles in. It’s nice you were able to provide her with a moment of peace at least. I’m sure she will calm down once all the dust from the big move settles.

@Ti-Mousse Lyane, I just heard about your Zoe, I'm so very sorry, it's a scary diagnosis but not a death sentence, there's a lot that can be done to help her. Start with what Joy suggested above. Vines and prayers to you, your kitties and your uncle. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Ravan was diagnosed with stage 2 KD over a year ago. I read all the info on Tanya's web site & put him on Calcitriol 2 X a week & LOW Phos food & he's doing good. His recent blood work showed he's stable.

I'm confused? Which cat has CKD? At first I though you meant Ti-Mousse.

It's my little girl Zoé 17yo who's CKD.
Thanks for the calcitriol; I started going through Tanya's site! :bighug:
Nice that you could take care of your son's little kitty; what an adventure for her!:( Such a good thing that you were there!
