Yesterday was a classic Neko yellow bouncette followed by an almost all green PM cycle.
10/15 Recap:
AMPS 79  +2 248 +9 149
PMPS 103 +3 86  +7 80  +9 97
Last night I fully intended to get a +6 test. The alarm went off, I composed myself for a few minutes, got up, tested Neko. But when I went to record in the log book what the meter said, it told me those "few minutes" were over an hour.
I never did that when Neko was on Lantus. The lack of sleep is really catching up to me. Fortunately it looks like Neko was surfing.
As ever, Neko was glad to see us get up for rowing. More treats for everyone! No one greeted us when we got back, but I did hear the sound of LB's in stereo. I got her a new bed yesterday and it looks like a hit. I also bought a pillow form and will make another one for the bedroom so she can sleep in the room if she wants.
OT: One of the spookiest rows today. It is very dark when we start and mostly dark when we finish. I was in bow (meaning I give directions). In rowing sculls, you go backwards, so it means I have to look around behind me a lot. We take a course against the shore where there are houses, to provide additional light. We just have to be aware of large hunks of granite (islands). No problem heading out, but part way along, the clouds dropped down and became fog. I stopped when we couldn't see much further. On the way back, all of the boats got so far off course we almost found an island across the channel. Fortunately around the other side of that island, the sky was clearer. Never been so glad to see stars!
Speaking of islands, I'm off to see the parental units today. DH is in charge.
