Yesterday I declared an end to those ugly red starts and upped the dose in the PM. Hey baby girl, time for some greens!

I am sole BIC for a couple of days as DH is back to the family cabin trying to make sure the sea otters don't take up winter residence underneath. A very fishy smelly job! I'm happy to stay here instead. Today is also "fight with the phone" day. On the weekend our land line started getting static (with the rain) and today it started cutting off. Thank goodness for cell phones.

Today is a dry day with some blue sky and the odd bit of sunshine. Neko is on her third yard patrol so I'm gonna have to get the broom out to clean up the pine needles in the kitchen. CPC as usual, but it's nice to have a sunny yellow start because then she isn't quite as crazy at food time. My fingers feel safer. :lol:

Get that broom and sweep away the reds!!!

Ick on the fish. My DH gets to take care of the boat cleaning and muck too. It's about time for it to come out of the water and get a good winter cleaning.

Getting there. I went to test her and she was sprawled on the solarium floor, tummy side up to the sunshine!

@Lisa - nicer numbers as requested. The sea otter stuff is even worse. They did get in last year so the job is taking out old insulation and cleaning up the old sea otter poo from under the cabin. Yuck! Head to toe coverings with ventilator. This year DH'll just make sure there's no where for them to den underneath. Check out some one else's place! But they are cute.

Oh boy - I don't quite know what to say to that! Head to toe with ventilator? Yikes - like a biohazard site! I hope DH gets it all sealed up so he doesn't have to go through this again next year.

And of course Neko chooses her +6.5 to start charging down and I had to go out for a couple of hours. Lucky her, she had some nice tasty Gravy Lovers to tide her over. She was going down at 20 points in the half hour so I probably overdid it, but rather safe than sorry. Sometimes her nadir has been at +9. Her 8.5 is exactly the same as yesterdays. I'm expecting a higher PMPS though. :lol:

@Lisa - You have the best emoticons! Where do you find them? Some jobs are best described as mans work. :lol: Last time this happened we had a very hard time getting one of the locals to do it. We are leaving it open underneath this year and will deal with sealing it up in the spring after sea otter babies have come and gone.

Given the complaining in the kitchen for the hour before dinner, I was expecting a red. :roll: It was the first time seeing greens for a while and overkill on HC before I had to go out this afternoon, not bad for Neko.

@Carla - I did expect Neko to go up, I guess it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Late and trying to catch up wih everyone.
I missed Neko getting that green.
Now if we could just get her to forget to bounce. ;-)

Wheee! Down we go. 130 points since PS, not bad.

@Rhiannon - thanks for the visit, your days are busy! It was nice to see that green again and it looks like we're heading down somewhere tonight too.

@Michelle - Hi to you too. And Neko was not quite HI but so close. I was so glad to see that green but the timing was awkward.

@Anne - Neko seems to have bounced off the atmosphere and is in free fall back down again. Ropes not needed yet, but keep them handy. :lol:
