Yesterday was...... BLUE day in MannieLand!, with a splash of yellow. ;-) WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live at Katmandu's OTJ party, well into the night. :cool: Well done kitties! Yesterday was such great day for Mannie, even with the jump into the yellows for the PM cycle. Most of the day was a steady blue cycle - one very pleased bean: the consistency over the past coupe of days has been so nice to see. Keep them coming Mannie. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Crazy weather here... rains one minute, sun the next, then winds and back to the rains... I asked Mannie a couple of times when I was home yesterday if he wanted to go out. He sniffed , pondered, decided at one point to give it a try. He made it halfway across the deck before turning around. :lol: :lol: It wasn't 10 minutes later that he is back at the door wanting to try again. Braving all the element he made his rounds, secured the perimeter, checked for intruders, and secured his ground cover patch. Once satisfied back in he came, bringing dang near all of the yard debris in with him, stuck to his fur. I now have pine needles all over the house. I lost count of the number of times I though I had removed them all, only to have him drop a few more in a new spot. ohmygod_smile :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: You gotta love it.... :-D This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. Our weather continues to be BLECH - lots of rain, winds and cool temps. I have a river running off my roof this morning. :lol: I am not too sure what I will do today. More than likely more chores and cleaning, that I didn't do yesterday. :roll: :roll: Hopefully the rains will let up during the day so I can get a shore walk in. :-D looks like Mannie plans on more nanner napping. ;-) He put up the do not disturb sign after his morning breffis.... :lol:

Hey everybody!! What's up! some party for Katmandu last night - we did GOOD! I am so tired today.... we so need a chillaxin' day... maybe a sunny beach! Like Maggie's. or maybe FL. hey Maggie - how's the weather there? Sunny and warm?? can we come and hang out at your beach? Build a campfire and stuff? let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Oh what nice blues Mannie! Way to go big guy. Bummer on your weather. I guess it is that time of year. I had to laugh about Mannie bringing in half the yard though. :lol: Thankfully Tarragon doesn't like to go outside. Charlie does enough damage on his own. A nice dready day sounds like a great day for a nap. Mannie has the right idea. Maybe you should try it! :-D Have a great day Michelle!

I had to laugh, too, with Mannie bringing in part of the yard and pine cone needles. :lol: I hope there is clearing for you to get in a shore walk. Great pics of your hike yesterday.

Hey Mannie, yes come to San Diego. Weather will be high 80's and nice dry heat, perfect summer weather. Gather the gang and come on over, k! Guess I won't need a ride cept maybe to the beach, See ya soon.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) We seem to have a blue kitty these days, and no complaints from this bean. WOO HOO! Yep on the weather, but s it is here in the NW - it is normal for us :? As are those those pine needles stuck on his fur. sheshhhhh :lol: :lol: yep, I too think Mannie has the right idea. I wonder if his kitty bed is big enough for both of us. :lol: :lol: :lol: Big eyes from the Nanner King on that one. ;-)

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) and too funny on you guys waiting for your deliveries. Mannie says he is on it, packing up hi hot and tasty concoctions as we speak. :lol: :lol: It was a great day for Mannie, despite all those pine needles... I fight this with him all the time. his belly fur is really long, a just collects everything.... there are pine needles wherever in my house. THX on the oics, and I hope to get out today. The afternoon looks good for that shore walk.

Tarragon - DUDE! Cool then on Maggie's, and BUMMER dude that your pool is closed.... heeheehee - soon we will be planning snowboarding adventures and stuff. HEY! They predict snow in our mtns this weekend. :o WOO HOO! See ya soon ~~ Mannie

Wrong way, Mannie. You need a day at the beach!!

Michelle, those are great shots from yesterday's hike. I thought it was a rail trail! I see I was mistaken!!! Can you imagine what it must have been like to ride in a train on those trelisses? I hope you can get out today in a sunny interval!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) And so I told him: wrong way, and about face! :-D THX on the pics - This is a very interesting area to hike,as alot of it is on the side of the mtns, with trellis in alot of spots. I need to get up closer to the pass, and it goes through several tunnels there, and apparently is quite the thing to see. I so agree on riding a train on those trellis's. They are indeed high up, and span all the creeks coming off of the mtns. It is so fun to hike.

Rusty - DUDE! Yupp! got lots of leftovers - I will pack them up. This will be SO FUN! And YOU GOY SNOW?????? Enough for snow tunnels yet? I so lubs the snow tunnels.... See you soon at Maggie's. I is so ready! ~~ Mannie

The sun has come out, looks like a nice morning for a few hours... best get at it before that changes.

whoo hoo Mannie keep on that blue surfboard and LOL love the pine needle story we have pines all in our back yard and we the Beans are always tracking them in.. :roll:

Nice blue recovery there Mannie, it seems to be becoming a habit. :-D Too funny on the pine needles, I was just cursing the trail of them in our kitchen today. Time for a tummy combing job. Good luck cleaning them out of the nanner pile. I was also thinking of your story and Mannie and the wind yesterday. First time I went to let Neko out this morning, a gust blew up. I love their expressions "hey, what happened to that from weather a week ago, fix it!".

You've also reminded me that it's time for hazelnut vanilla lattes! Almond hazelnut mocha sounds like a fantastic variation.

Hi Wendy - That it was - I so so love those blues. yupp me too on the pine needles. Mannie is only part of the problem, they were all over me today too! :lol: :roll: Mannie just came in too, hauling in even more. I am laughing over your Neko and the wind thing - funny how they want us to make it go away. Their expressions are so so good. FUN on the lattes - I used to get them all the time - LOVE hazelnut. in a mocha is it good too.

Mannie is a brave boy to even venture out in crummy windy weather. :smile:
Checkers stays out a whole 3 minutes, when it's cold...in the enclosed porch :lol:


Hope he stays in that nice blue zone for the rest of the night. :-D

Hi Barb - omg on the pine needles... darn thing are everywhere! I vacuumed and three minutes later they were back. They must walk in on their own accord. :shock: :lol: :lol: And yes on Mannie - I think he does. it just kills me when I can see him out there rolling in this and that and then it all makes my floor. :roll: :roll: :roll: For the most part Mannie doesn't mind being out - he likes it. But as he has gotten older he just doesn't go far much. One trip a day through the whole yard, the rest is surveillance from the deck, a few feet from the door. I had hoped for Blue too - but looks like it will be a yellow night. it's OK, he's had a great few days, one night off is OK. besides - then I can sleep. :shock: ;-)

Hi Carla - Me too on the blues, but I suspect it will be a yellow one. I like your choice better. THX too on the pics - it's a fun place to go.
