I hope Hyde slides down today.
Hyde - that was totally unnecessary tonight. 
Barring any significant change tonight or tomorrow, I think are good for an increase tomorrow night.

DH said that this morning might have been a fur shot. 
What can you do? Will this effect the increase every 6 cycles plan?
Spoke to the specialist vet today. Here is what I remember (left the paper at work). Hyde looks like early stages of kidney disease (high BUN and Creatinine are high and SDMA is also high - will get copies of blood work tomorrow). She recommended looking up Hyde's food at catinfo.org to review the phosphorous content. Need low carb, low phosphorous food (I know it is rather mutually exclusive
). She is also going to be put on a phosphorous binder capsules.
As for Jekyll, His B12 came back low so he will be getting B12 shots weekly for 1 month then monthly thereafter. Also because he gained weight on a low dose of prednisolone this summer, going to start him on 5 mg 2x daily for 2 weeks then once a day after. No chlorambucil at this point!!
No issues with the fecal or urine samples.

Yes, the fur shot changes the plan. You want at least 5, probably six consecutive cycles at a dose before deciding to increase. Today was just cycle 4.
Neko has early stage CKD. Low carb/low phosphorus is not mutually exclusive and quite a few kitties here have both FD and CKD. Ann has a chart on Tess's SS that lists quite a few options. What food is Hyde getting now? Many here feed Fancy Feast, but it's way too high in phosphorus. For my civie, I want low carb/low phosphorus/novel protein - now that's a little harder to find in a can! I feed raw so much easier to find novel proteins. Neko raids Theo's bowl, so I want to feed the same to both. You only need phosphorus binders if you can't find a low phos food.

Looks like Hyde is headed in the right direction.
I hope she starts leaning to keep the bouncing down. Although it seems like few of the high dose kitties have mastered that trick.
