Gracie's Yesterday

Happy Wednesday and....for Carl...DH here (not really but I don't want to confuse Carl). Sending out prayers to Libby and Sue; tons of healing vines to Angela's Bubba, Ozy, Jupe, Randi's Chloe, Amy's Noah, Lyresa's KT, Dakota, Leo, and Spike.
I do believe LBG has me snookered. She will take a few licks of her food and then look at me like more chicken dust, please; so I add chicken dust and then we lather, rinse, repeat :lol: :lol: Smart girl. Her Auntie Josiebean brought her Pure Bites Shrimpies and now I have a shrimpy addict on my hands. :lol: :lol: :lol: And possibly two because Gussie is digging on them, too. That monkey bean LBG has ticked all the 5Ps off this morning with extra on the playing and purring. She's on the catio right now absorbing the sun with Tobey.
Looks like this dose (which she has done well on before) is kicking in and she's getting some nice numbers and also doing her Lil Stinka's on us. I'm pretty sure her nighttime numbers are as a result of feeding her differently at night. During the day, we try not to feed from +4 to +6 to allow the insulin some time to work at its onset but we just typically can't stay up at night to do the same thing. So it gives us all a chance to get some rest....including Gracie. I'm sure if I put my thinking cap on, I could figure out a solution but we're ok with the sleep ;-) . AND when she's really serious about the dose, it doesn't matter how we feed her...she still surfs green at night.
Gussie continues to improve (anti-jinx) and had a good vetty visit yesterday. He actually seems to be moving around the house even more than he was before he got sick and his coat is starting to look better. He's back to the 4:30 to 5 a.m. wakeup calls for the beans to feed him a little snack.
